WARNING: NEW SCAM

Skorch··1 votes·397 views

There is a new scam where if a friend clicks the link, it will use their account to send messages to your friends list I was dumb and clicked it thinking it went to the universe site, then my friends started saying he got signed out AS i clicked the link, then said he never sent a link.

He also clicked a link and im unsure if clicking the link, or signing in on the website is what dooms your account.

EDIT: Apparently the signin will lead you right to the league home menu.

My friend fell for it

It's phishing. They set up a simillar site and you leave your info basically. Allways make sure you are on the right page when clicking on a link.

If he clicked on it and signed in, they took his info, signed in to his account and sent the same link to his friends ( you ). It's really easy to spread since most people will trust anything sent by their friends. Allways make sure to check if the page is genuine when clicking on links.

You and your friend should make sure your accounts are secured. There is a stickied Red post on scams on the boards home page (at the very top) that you both should read. http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/miscellaneous/d2zcIkfI-psa-scams-making-the-rounds-again

I think you're fine then, but you should scan your computer for viruses/key-loggers just to make sure.

Assassins, as a whole, ARENT weak. Their targets are just too strong.
