Honestly the only thing that Kat needs is Mana in order to balance her
Want to balance her early game? mana Want to make her pay for not resetting proplery? mana Want to give her a weakness that isn't just "CC her"? mana
This has nothing to do with whether or not I like playing her or like playing against her nor has it anything to do with my skill at beating her or how often I win or lose against her.
Kat is a resourceless reset champion. The only one in fact. Every other reset champion has a resource to be conscious of. Even Akali has to manage something. Even Yi does. Even Darius does.
You could easily still give her Mana back whenever she killed anything, but make it so her laning phase can easily be gated like Riot wants instead of arbitrarily changing her W scaling or reducing her poking power.
Totally agree. Her passive could even remove mana costs for a few seconds, to make her seem resourceless in teamfights.
As long as she is consistently killing things and using things wisely, that would be great.
Even better if the main way she got it back was from proccing Q marks with either W or E. Force her to combo instead of just mindlessly spamming her abilities. Make the good Katarinas easier to spot from the bad katarinas.
and still rek you with mana because you don't know how to cc.
