These are very, very low win rates-An honest perspective

25% win rate at 20 min with 34% overall? That's very bad. If you look at the champion matrix she is very low in all the categories. But why? Is it becasue of her newness and nobody knows how to play her? That's entirely possible but Jhin didn't have this low of a win rate. Aurelion Sol didn't have this low of a win rate. I'm not bringing up Illaoi because that shit was cancer but Kindred definitely didn't have this low of a win rate. My guess as to why her win rate is so low is because of how you can outplay just about everything in her kit with ease. Her Q can be easily dodged. Her W is hilariously easy to dodge. Her E does negligible damage early game and is easy to just walk out of. Her R has less outplayability but it's clunky enough to make you hate it. Everything in her kit is dodgeable and it becomes very frustrating to play. Her W has a delay, her E has a huge delay, and her ult is clunky as shit and has a very annoying cast time. I have a feeling Riot may need to give serious buffs to numbers in order to make her viable and fun. Or we all might just be plebs who haven't learned the champion yet. I'd love to discuss this further but please keep the comments civil.

well this is what happens when half the champios in the game have 0 counterplay and then you go and make a champion like taliyah which has a ton of counterplay built into her own kit.

A Basic Island3 votes

She's so bad you can tell from the champ select that unless she had insane numbers she wasn't going to be any good.

Tychusfindlay9192 votes

She's one of the most worthless piece of shit available right now.

I ban her straight up if one of my teammates signals wanting to go her. She's god-awfully useless.

Beldair2 votes

And you know this from what, 1 battle?

I have 3 games where I was doing good and we won all 3.

Leopards Ghost1 votes

she's ok. the didn't release her with lane responsibilities (which is good) and her kit seems a little underpowered rn (instead of op) but my guess is people haven't figured out which runes & builds to use on her yet..

she has field-slow+damage, directional-knockup, & some decent waveclear. how that isn't the makings of a great champ is beyond me but leaguers have a habit of breaking things of course we could talk about what happened to shen... (but we probably wont)

According to Champion.GG's automated analysis of 10k Taliyah games, 84.96% of the Taliyah players have 1-5 games with her, so it's much too early to make any characterizations of her performance.

i know. Did you see how i said that jhin and aurelion sol didnt have a win rate this low?

MunchCrunchLunch1 votes

even illaoi had a higher winrate on release. taliyah might have some deep problems beyond numbers tbh. and i think she does. you want an assassin or a mage in mid lane. someone that can put out damage. some champions like kennen and azir still provide as much utility as her while putting out a lot more dps. there ain't much reason to pick her

LankPants1 votes

Her max winrate/gamesplayed is still only 43%.

Sire Hippington2 votes

the main issues are that her Q from worked ground is beyond pathetic, her E makes for most of her damage but is unreliabale outside of a few matchups as it requires you to land W, which also is unreliable, but for good reason. And W with the self silence and doubletap rather than vectorcast just is hella clunky. Her base ms also feels really low for a champ that is all about positioning, her passive feels less than a speed boost but more like giving her normal speed while she's permanently slowed otherwise... And her worked ground just lasts way to long, especially in lane, though that would be less of an issue if Q from worked ground did anything at all.

Marshbouy1 votes

all of this is super accurate i hate using your Q and expecting all the shots but only getting one

MealReadytoEat1 votes

They really need to make the Q's cooldown halved if cast on worked ground. Then its only a 33% loss in DPS, not a 66%.

You realise you just described Sion, right?

The difference is that Sion has actual damage and utility to bring with those easily dodged moves.

Marshbouy2 votes

hmm I did exactly describe sion LOL But sion has good damage and huge utility if he can land it along with being a serious lane bully if you get some good E's off. Instead taliyah is just "eh"

blacknerdtaku1 votes

yeah. when Sion was first reworked the dude was absolutely GARBAGE tier. he had to get a couple of buffs to be useful.

Mawootad2 votes

She's pretty badly undertuned. Her w and ult are legitimately amazing abilities (outside of some relatively minor issues), and once the rest of her numbers get cleaned up she'll probably see some play, but right now she's clunky, unreliable, and has absurd mana costs.

Best Darius KR1 votes

She feels amazing to me. The design of her kit really flows nicely IMO.

That being said, her worked ground lasts too long i think.

Marshbouy1 votes

I think her worked ground is too long too

I was winning against an Ahri. An immobile champ stomping a mobile queen.

And both times I went support, we destroyed our lane opponents.

congratulations you are good at league of legends 1 player's result<a lot of player's results

You can use a fact to support an opinion.

You cannot state an opinion through a fact. That simply doesn't work. "Water boils at 100 degrees Celsius." Woop di doo I stated my opinion through a fact.

Woah!

Not a simple champion. Win rate could be due to a lot of people misunderstanding the kit. I would think a few minor buffs at best. Her ult has way too much power in it fundamentally for her to have much stronger numbers. I could see small cd reductions though.

I love her thematically, and I love her abilities, but there are some things I would tweak to her kit. I hope Riot takes a look at these posts.

Q- I feel that this should auto target the enemy at expense of power or range of attack. It doesn't make sense thematically that she can't control the directions of the Q, but can control the direction of the W. Also Given the fact that she has the worked ground(I love that idea), it's too weak of a move. There needs to be some compensation right now, and I don't think buffing the damage is going to help.

W- Great idea, but still a little clunky. The click and re-click is a little too much. The delay doesn't help either. So either make it easier to hit OR make casting the move easier.

I would do a click to cast the rock, and click again for a Knockup. IF I don't want a knockup, do step one but then instead of clicking again, I would move the mouse to the direction I would throw them. Keep the indicator like you have it, but don't make me click again.

E- Very cool, goes well with W but takes too long. Usually they just run out by the time it explodes. I would either increase the slow when they are in it so it's hard to run out, or I would shorten the duration. But I like the W-E combo.

R- Love this move, BUT it's very hard for me to ride the rocks. Instinctively I move after doing R. Something that I need to work on, but it feels a little clunky. Maybe an indicator that shows a time limit to ride on, so even if I move if I press R again I can ride. It can be a very short one but at least I can move and ride.

Passive- Just make her go a little faster. It's a great idea(surfboard), but it still feels too slow for what it is. The counter to her surfing(if she gets extra speed) this is that she HAS to hug the wall. So even if she was going faster, you know her route and you can counter her with it. You can also even make her a little bit slower moving as a champion in exchange for faster movement if she surfs. But right now, it just seems like a cool looking passive with little use because she doesn't move fast enough.

Those are my 2 cents.

Marshbouy1 votes

pretty good 2 cents that highlights a lot of her issues with great solutions. The click reclick got me killed more times then i can remember

I curious how item 3116 effects her winrate ones she build it.

Marshbouy1 votes

it's almost always in her build so im assuming a lot

CoolKnightST1 votes

I known that, I was just wondering how much her chances of winning increase ones she finally compleet it.

Marshbouy1 votes

im assuming greatly improved. As more data comes out you might be able to see that difference.

I don't even know about Q. It's so clunky as long as there is anything between you and the enemy. Basically Karma, except without a reliable speed buff and CC. No amount of number tunning will make this ability worth anything in lane.

W - This one is simple. Make it vector targeting smart-cast. Press once - set the circle, release - set the direction. Having to confirm each part is just tedious and blocks out the usage of other spells.

E - If Q and W were more reliable, I have no problem with this one.

R - Personally, I'd make the "recast" part longer, perhaps make it deal damage to enemies hit, beyond just knocking aside those who happen to be on it's path.

Oh hey it's almost release Syndra tier,

Except the people playing release syndra had more than 5 games with her.

Rico Nasty1 votes

It's a nice and cool concept, it really is, but it's like.. she has no combos, crazy cast times, shit utility and damage, everything is dodgeable, worked ground is an awful mechanic, she's literally just a shitty version of Zyra. Let's go back to the drawing board, Riot. Thematically I love her but her kit is actual shit.

cannot put it better

Jhin had the lowest win rate by a champion that was initially released it was 38% or around that. No one knew how to play him. Give it more time, people are also taking Taliyah everywhere and doing terrible with her.

Ill give it time and lets see the change
