It's because his barrel mechanics are stupid and overly complicated and unnecessary. new GP sucks, old one was actually fun to play, new one ruined him. He used to be my fave char. If they wanted to make Donkeykong a character they could have made a new one instead of steamrolling over an old one. if this is the pirate "king" I'd rather have the henchman back.

His mechanics are really complex. Takes awhile to know how to use them in-lane (leave a barrel in a bush then insta-chunk the enemy by chaining another one)
