The problem Zoe is going to have is shes going to hit the rift with an identity crisis just as Camille did.
Riot states Zoe is a burst mage, however nothing about her kit is burst damage and calling her a burst mage is simply incorrect.
While paddle star can be very powetfuk, its also very unreliable for damage.
In reallity Zoe is more of an AP assassin and battle mage Hybrid. Her ult allows her to get into the back line to damage the squshies and also allows her to get out right after, and her kit more closely resembles that of champs like
as in shes difficult to target, has some great mobility and can control a team fight by using the zoning preassure of her Paddle star. She also relies heavily on auto attacks and thus needs
as a core item.
She also gets rewarded heavily for roaming. Sleepy bubble trouble is an easy to land ganking tool that can really catch an enemy off guard if you land it from over a wall, do so allows you to follow up with an easy paddle star and ult combo from behind thst vrry same wall. On top of that, spell thref reward you for preassuring enemies into using thrir spells to escape your ganks.
As Zoe you want to roam. You want to gank and you want to assassinate. Zoe has all the tools needed to do it and thats not something you would find on a burst mage. If she hits the rift in that stste Riot is going to have to do to her whst they did to cammile. They are going to have to sit down and decide "do we wsnt her as the Battle mage assassin hynrud? Or do we want her as a burst mage" if they want her to be burst they will have to shave some mobilitu from hrr kit and give her higher cooldowns. If they want to keep her as an assassin then shes going to have to lose some damage growth. Its exactly what they did with cammile. Cammile was doing to much of everything and things had to br shaved from het kit and numbers adjusted.
Its still early though, all we can do is see how things play out on the PBE before jumping to and conclusions.
