Hear it from my side, the Ahri debate

Calm down calm down, don't just downvote quite yet. I'm not trying to rage post against Ahri reformists I just wanna talk *holds up white flag

Let me explain my point of view to maybe show some light on a few things.

A typical Ahri match looks like this for me. 1-10 min, I focus on farm and wait for level 6, and gank bot 11-25 min, I roam around the map while clearing middle lane minions ganking usually bot but also top 25-45+ min, I am no longer able to 1v1 anyone except squishies, and focus only on executing low hp champs, and charming high priority opponents to be focused during or to initiate team fights.

The large portion of my mid-late game is more of a support role. Yes I can jump in and take out a squishy support or adc if I land a charm on them (AS ANY MID LANER SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO) But I can't stop the front-line, I can only kite them and not only do I have to kite them but I have to do it for a long time. I landed 3 Q's 3 Charms 1 W and my ult just to kill the enemy Jax 1v1, and only because I warded and dodged his initial stun.

My point is, Ahri is good, she just is, but she's no Veigar who can get 1000+ AP that literally has a point and click execute. Ahri requires skill, timing, you can't miss your charm EVER or getting the kill becomes much more difficult, and yes she can dash but building sustain and MR can be enough to prevent ahri from bursting you down.

Mid-late game Ahri becomes semi-assassin/support. You can target squishies but you're best used for charming priority targets, if you miss, you screwed. Trust me trying to throw a charm accurately in the mix of a 5 man team with minion waves is like some kind of matrix shit. It isn't easy, and it makes sense that she would have 3 dashes to re-position a charm/initiate.

So from the point of view of a main. She's strong but she's not, 1v5 your team Yasuo or 5 man dunk your team Darius. Or kill a tower in 2.5 seconds Master yi. Or A jax with unstoppable power. She's not on that level and thats why no one really focuses their bans on her.

BECAUSE if she was like Yas and Daruis then her ban rate would be SO MUCH higher then what it is now (10% or less) Thats my point of view, most, if not all, my kills require me to flawlessly execute my skills shots can be dodged or (In case of charm) blocked.

The problem isn't her damage. It's how slippery she is.

I landed 3 Q's 3 Charms 1 W and my ult just to kill the enemy Jax 1v1, and only because I warded and dodged his initial stun.

If your fight against Jax lasted long enough for you to throw out three charms, it means you've kited him for over 16 seconds, even though he's a mobile duelist with a stun (which would've come up again in a fight that long). He probably also has some damage items by mid game, so if he could stay on you for more than a couple seconds, you would've died.

Her Q movespeed can be removed so she isn't so safe a pick. And yes, she's supposed to be slippery, but she already has her ult for that; most people think the bonus on her Q is a bit excessive.

I don't beleive that you landed 3 Charms on a jax on the same fight. This means that you were playing against the worst jax on Earth who let himself be hit by 3 charms in a row, without killing you in such an insane amount of time. But if that was true then how did it took you so long to kill him? You both most have been the worst players of that particular game.
