ADC Darius: Full guide on how to carry

I only lost 3 times so far, out of like 20 games -one time because i was against caitlyn+zyra -one time because my team was uncarriable despite me going 13/5 -one time because my top laner went vayne because "we needed an adc" and went 0/10 against enemy Yorick who ended 4 level ahead of us with too much items

ADC darius is extremely legit, there is just 0 downside of playing him instead of a traditional marksmen -sieging, Darius can siege very well like you can see many time in this video. the popular believe is "is not ranged, cannot siege" but Darius has a hook with a decent range making him able to hook ranged champions while sieging. Additionally you may have every time a mage (99% of the time) and mages are also decent at sieging compensating the lack of marksmen -DPS, Darius has a VERY STRONG dps. Noxian might gives him about 200 AD at level 18, fervor gives 64 AD at level 18. Combine this with good attack speed runes/items you're able to do a lot of damage to ANYONE due to +25% bonus armor penetration from apprehend and sometimes building black cleaver. Not forgetting his ulti that can reset and deal a lot of true damage. -Tankiness, this compensate the lack of range. you trade about 450 range for more durability from Q healing and strong base stats

When you should pick adc darius: -enemy support is a melee, then yes just pick darius this is a free lane if you banned -if your team has then you should highly considerate to pick adc darius because ivern is the greatest friend to juggernauts, the greatest among the greatest -to counter a heavy assassin team

Items:- first item has to be it's very simple: -40% attack speed making you able to get asap noxian might and +64 AD from fervor -sheen damage combined with the top3 highest base AD also making you able to siege better with the sheen passive -phage passive -20% cdr -other shit trinity force is just the best item for AD carry darius, it makes you able to deal so much burst damage+sustained damage

second item: for CDR into
very cheap, increases base AD making split pushing/sieging more efficient with trinity force -protects you from burst and increases your tankiness

next items depending on the situation

starting item: if you feel you're going to get poked hard if the lane is easy, this will make you able to get asap which is crucial bot lane due to the bonus ms

"but rubick, what is an easy lane with adc darius?" this is a great question that allows me to transition

any ranged support will give you a hard time in laning phase especially , other ranged supports are still a danger but somewhat manageable if she's picked just forget about picking adc darius, and i'll explain it later he's a hard lane that can be won if play correctly with your support, but the odds are still not in your favor

ANYTHING else is an easy lane, literally anything The reason to this is that adc's damage are way to low compared to darius's damage in an extended fight, they all need a lot of items except Caitlyn, Caitlyn doesn't need items to do damage unlike the other she can potentially hit your for 3 heashots all doing 150 damage which is like 50% of your hp at level 1 (450 damage) she has her Q and her 650 range autoattack

how do i win lane as adc darius? this is where your support enters in the game ADC darius has no way to start a fight except if the enemy adc/sup does a mistake, his hook range is smaller than all their AA range and his base ms is still quite low (340) to start a fight. You need a support that can start a fight, every single one of them that can do that is a potential good support for you, but they need to be reliable

Forget about this dude, his engage ability is just unreliable, his hook has a very long delay it's almost impossible to hit someone she can engage a fight, that's good. But honestly her kit doesn't bring much very strong, extremely strong with darius: -is ranged -has CC -has a lot of bonus ms which is good on darius, and a heal -has a slow on AA -has a decent damage output Literally the best support with darius (or in the game XDDDDD) Karma gives ten thousand billion of movement speed on her shield, it's the easiest way to start a fight if you speed a darius and allow him to hook. Additionally the strength of the shield is big and she can deal so much damage it's very good for a fight And lastly, her link allows her to have the most reliable way of starting a fight, just link the adc or support and snare him (unless they're mobile) Honorable mention: long duration snare+some good damage+black shield for darius i just never tried darius with her

How do i play ADC Darius in teamfight? Stay behind your frontlinelike a marksmen, this way you avoid a lot of damage. Darius is squishy until 3 or 4 items you don't want to tank damage, you want to kill anyone even tanks like a marksmen. If your frontline/support managed to CC the backline then you can try to dive them try to get noxian might as fast as possible by hitting anyone in front of you hit the tank 5 times to get bonus AD+5 stacks on one hit

during siege either you split push with trinity force, or siege with your team you have multiple way to siege: -let your mage sieging -try to hook a squishy -just proc your sheen and back off

DO NOT PICK ADC DARIUS if: -you don't have ranged champions -they have caitlyn or ezreal -you don't have ccs in your team darius can't work without ccs -you don't have the good support with you

the advantage of adc darius : -stronger early/mid game than 90% of the marksmen roster -Stronger level scalling than 100% of the marksmen roster, due to his spells+his base stats -tankier than 100% of the marksmen roster, making him a direct counters to +divers+assassins who are forced to go on your support instead
