I was in a game recently we lost with an S- on our team. Guy was never with us. So we lost the teamfights while he occasionally got a pick.

It's a team game, guys.

Which is why nobody should get a chest for an s grade if they lose the game. It will keep stupid, selfish idiots from doing this.

It's not always about selfishness. If that person is playing a champ with almost no teamfight presence but strong split/pick potential then they are doing their job. Sometimes they aren't scary enough to pull 3 enemies or sometimes the other 4 teammates aren't strong enough to win fights even with advantages but in those cases you certainly aren't going to win 5v5 either, your team is just too far behind and you're going to lose.

When that's me and it's a 5v4 and my team can't hold the base, I just throw myself into the teamfight and lose anyway. Then my team can't flame me for splitting.

I did that too last night. I knew the game was lost no matter what I did so I grouped with my team so that the defeat would feel less crushing, but that was me accepting defeat. If I had thought we could still win I would've kept splitting and just tried to clean up after fights when possible.

Hmm. That's a possibility.

Meanwhile some people can go 10/4 as Yas being at every team fight at still lose because the bot lane fed Draven 10 kills.

got an S+ on trist because 17/2 and 450 cs

still lost because 4v5 eventually got too heavy, feels bad
