I'm of the opinion that it never should have existed in the first place. If armor was getting out of control, they could have tweaked it. There aren't very many low ratio ad champs that need it to function that we couldn't tweak them individually and simplify the game.

I almost feel similarly with magic pen. Still on the fence though. More mages need pen because their ratios are shit than ad champs and pen is about the only way to increase damage for them meaningfully, while others would be fine.

Lethality wasnt added because of armor it was added so they could give ad assassins a stat to balance them around. Armor is what counters lethality.

Ghostblade losing 5 lethality isn't going to magically make you stop building it on adcs

Considering that there are now stronger alternatives and other armor pen items where also nerfed, yes, it absolutely will. Or at least, it should. 15 lethality is a joke when the same item used to give 20 armor pen and AS on activation. Ghostblade->Cleaver is weaker on adcs than it's ever been since adcs started building them, and anyone who still builds them over new Botrk or Crit is a fool.

So what's your point? It used to give 20 armor pen which was 100% efficient the moment you bought it and gave AS on activation as well. Now it only gives 15 lethality, which is worse than armor pen while giving less of it in total, and the AS is also gone. Ghostblade rush is a shadow of it's former self, and anyone who still rushes in on adc simply isn't paying attention.
