Lux is way safer than ahri is and i dont often see people complain about her,also has hard cc and a shield she can put on multiple allies.

Chogath mid is also a thing that i think many people have forgotten about. His sustain is so real he just isnt bothered by most mid laners.

Lux is much more safe. Also ahri can't 100-0 any ADC with Morello ludens and zhonyas in teamfights if she lands her full combo. Her late game DMG is just pitiful but she will always have good roaming potential to make up for it.
