Not really...

While i do think there is a chance that there are more champions with more varied winrates (Note: I said chance) there are still cases of being WAY more unbalanced.

There was a time when had a 99% ban rate

There was a time when had a 25% win rate (those were probably good days)

There was a time when the Beta of league was a thing, and oh god was it unbalanced.

So lets stop acting like every change that happens to 1 or 2 champions is "Making the game SOOOOOO unbalanced"

As i tried to say, the game isnt the most unbalanced its ever been as (while i used the extreme cases) there are always unbalanced champions. These patches/season is NO DIFFERENT.

The point of this post isnt to say things aare perfectly balanced. It was to tell people to instead of saying "This season is so unbalanced compared to other season" and say "So RIGHT NOW X Champion is unbalanced."

Riot doesn't care how much better one season is to another, because the reason its not that season is because there are still problems with that season that they didn't like.

No patch is perfect so actually focus on balancing what you have right now instead of comparing it to previous instances.

Last patch is undoubtedly a rushed out patch that they did just to get a patch out after their break.

So unless Trundle is tearing shit up in support (which has no data) in high elo or something, he does not need to be nerfed.

Neither does Illaoi for that matter. She's just really unfun to lane against, but is "balanced", for better or worse.

Whoa, counterpicks exist!?

Sorry friend, but while Trundle in particular is kind of cancer (in that he is stat-check: the champion, if you don't have some way of avoiding being stat-checked in lane by him he will stat-check you, at level six he is the king of stat-checking), statistically these champions are not performing particularly well in solo queue, and unlike someone like Azir they also aren't breaking the highest levels of play in half.

if she has damage blow her up if she doesnt walk out of it only the person who got w'ed will get killed if they arent a bruiser or a tank in which case they should because they dont have any defense cant complain when you have no defense and die (adcs are weak 2017)

I like the name, also yeah people do complain A LOT.

Like someone else said, back then you could just ban Kassadin or Xin and thats it. But you cant ban jungle now, you cant ban cotc, and so on.

by the way, the game is shit because of keystones and first blood tower if you can't realise this i'm sorry for you, there is no late game anymore game duration is 27 min average

I personally think FBT CAN POSSIBLY be a positive addition if it is balanced right (which it isnt right now, yes)

Keystones are either too strong or not used which is a problem.

And the difference is 20 champions slightly above 50% winrate is at least showing riot is learning how to keep things close to 50% and not just accidentally overbuff or nerf people and DRASTICALLY change everything. Its why when people complain about the "-5AD lul" its actually a good nerf that they did as if you look carefully actually changed more than you thought.

because it doesn't change the fact that in diamond 1 15% of the champ pool is pick/banned, and if you play something else there is a high change of losing because it requieres things that solo queue doesn't have ALWAYS to compensate the lack of balance which means that sometimes you will win, but a lot of time you will lose (more time)

speaking of first blood tower it reduces the duration of games which creates imbalance between late game and early game champions aka jayce

So stop bringing win rate or stats into the discussion, and play the game to see if it's balanced or not, hint: the game is at least unbalanced in high elo i don't know about low elo but i don't think we should tell high elo players to go to low elo with smurfs to get a good balance

So YES, i definitly think the game was better before. i don't remember being forced to pick 20 champs in diamond 1,i don't remember picking Renekton made me auto-lose

It doesnt matter if the game was better before, riot didn't. If you don't like the game now thats your choice.

But since Riot didn't like the game BACK THEN they aren't gonna like going back. The point of this post is to say to focus balancing this patch instead of telling riot what they used to do was better when they themselves werent happy with it.

I dont think i corrected myself and say i was wrong. However I will say that there used to be extremes and things riot did that were dumb. I definetly think Riot is getting better at balancing and i dont think its fair to compare balance between seasons because back in tank meta we HATES tanks. Now we miss the tank meta... until it happens again then we will hate tanks again.

Opinions on what is annoying might change over time, what im asking for is that we dont focus on past patches since they aren't coming back and probably werent as good as we remember them.

This patch isnt perfect for sure but we should probably focus ON this patch.
