Slow down their early game so laners can actually play 1v1/2v2 matchups again without getting instantly ganked by a red buff camille as they touch the first creep in the first wave
Reduce EXP and gold gains so you dont have champions like graves ganking then hyper farming into 1v5 mode late game
Remove red/blue smite so junglers arent the best duelists in the map for no reason as soon as they back with 600~gold (thats the top lane's job).

If some or all of those happened the game would be in a much, much better state, its time to make junglers less overpowered.

"they actually play 1v1/2v2"...jungler's role is ganking if you get ganked lvl1 it's probably your mistake for not knowing the jungle paths or not warding, certain champions can gank lvl2 so either play defensive or use your trinket(it's free).

Yet another "Nerf Jungle thread" by Rex.

1.Jungle was already slowed down in 8.10 and scuttle changes on top ruined jungle.

2.Exp is lower which is why you are seeing jungle 2-4 levels behind solo laners mostly till 10-12 min mark

3.Smites are fine the reason why you are seeing so many "Duelists" is because of the scuttle change which should be reworked.

The phrase "so laners can actually play 1v1/2v2 matchups again without getting instantly ganked " just screams Meddler's stupidity. I guess jungle getting above level 2 before 10 minutes in for the "1v1/2v2 matchups" is what you are having problems with.

Exp is not lowered enough, you only ever see a jungler behind if they get counterjungled hard. Otherwise they are same lvl as sololaners which is too much early game.

Jungle should be on par with adc's lvl wise to keep the game balanced, it has been 'better jungler wins' for far too long already because a jungler can be highest lvl in game,they can gank every lane and literally 1v5.

Doing camps and clearing jungle isn't even necessary at this point, just doing scuttle and red/blue along with one random camp and u can permagank/sit lanes.
