Can We Get Brand Out Of Botlane

Honestly it's just getting tiresome now.

He's incredibly strong as a support when used right. There's no way to fight a good Brand support except stay under turret and hope your jungler comes to gank.

Oh but if that happens Brand will just press R, facesmash his other keys, and walk away as you wait for your passive countdown to explode and finish you off.

Either tone him down or find a way to send him back midlane because he's way too strong as a botlane support and it's just getting annoying.

I'd rather see Xerath, Veigar, literally any other midlaner botlane than Brand.

Instead of making Brand desirable, send him back to his original lane and make unpopular zoning supports like Zyra or Zilean desirable. They honestly feel better to play against than Brand even if I'm dodging plants and bombs every other second. They don't do nearly as much as 1 single Brand ability early game.

Fuck that I don't want him mid lane, so annoying to fight.

Brand won't leave bot lane until he has lower base damage and higher scaling.

Maybe just make his ultimate require a bit more set-up? His abilities appear to have an interesting "stacking" mechanic where each one that he lands makes the next one worse, but with their current damage output this isn't really necessary.

I could get into how I think that manaflow band is creating an unhealthy bottom-lane by itself, but that's a different argument.

If you want brand out of botlane then he just needs low to-almost-no base damage with good ap ratios. Force him to build ap and done, he can no longer stay as gold-starved support or he'll be useless.

I'd love see Zyra being re-reworked back to a mage than support-bullshit.

Mages in general need to gtfo of bot lane lmao.

Better nerf brand instead of the actual broken supports like Alistar...lol Low elo, bless

Are you aware that Brand support has a losing win rate again almost all enchanter supports in the game? Have you tried to dodging his slow as fuck W with its built-in delays? Have you tried not getting hir by his Q that is blocked by minions?

Brand is worse than Season 4 Annie Support and they nerfed her in half the time.

Brand really is not that hard to counter. Brand has low winrates vs: Karma 44.1% Nami 44.9% Lulu 46.6% Janna 47.2% Sona 47.8% I am lvl 6 with Brand and lvl 7 with Karma trust me i know that match-up. If you play Karma into Brand it is sooooooooo easy to win lane especially with an aggressive adc like Vayne, Draven, or Lucian.

YOU'RE WELCOME

Play Alistar or Braum or Blitz or Thresh or Leona into him and insta win. ok cool nice

Cowgirl Ed3/8/2018, 8:23:24 AM3 votes

lol zyra was also a midlaner once...

Brand has no real mobility or sustain, or even tankiness. Hes also very item dependent.

Meaning if you kill him in lane a few times, hes going to fall off a cliff.

Brand is susceptible to poke lanes and all in lanes early. His only CC is fairly difficult to land, and his harass is very mana hungry.

I think it would be healthier if Brand were tuned in such a way that... every time he goes Bot lane, he has to take the role of an ADC, rather than a support.

for that to happen, you could...

  • reduce base damage and increase ratios.
  • give him a seiging mechanic, that is entirely gold based (maybe his passive has zero base damage, scales with AP, and now hits turrets, even if the main effect of his spells doesn't effect them)

Or you know, there is nothing wrong with bot lane being a part of the meta shift, instead of having Riot using the big boy stick batting out any and everybody that remotely challenges the almost decade long enforced bot meta of adc+supp?

Let the cycle of meta shift, just like life, continue.

Crying about brand bot lane, meanwhile he's not even good in higher ELO's

Good luck playing Brand into Alistar in high ELO. Also mobile ADC's can easily dodge brand's spells.

He's actually fairly hard to play bot lane the higher ELO you go.

The power that Brand has is his incredible base damage, which is entirely his passive. Blaze has no AP scaling, it has no per level scaling, it is powerful from level 1 on. But it needs to be that strong to keep him functioning in mid. Not much you can do about it other than give bot laners more MR, which would hurt Sona and Lulu more than Brand.

Brand is only good when cant you position well. His W is extremely telegraphed and q is easily dodgeable. He pretty much does no damage if you can sidestep well. You should only complain if you are not playing ranged adc bot and sp. But he zones out melee champs super well with little effort, but sucks against hard engage melee sp.
