How exactly do you beat ADC Morde bot lane?

Excluding a lane swap (which I actually think might work, but in solo queue it's really rare to get a lane swap) - how do you beat a morde adc?

Yes, I'm ranting about my last game against him. I just don't understand it though. I thought going in to the game (and having played support for a morde once) that you'd beat him by harassing him relentlessly while he tried to cs early. So I did that. I got 12 free rocket autos off on him with no trade back in return. Then blitz hooked my support nautilus (who is tanky...) when morde was 2 and the rest of us were 1, I figured 12 free autos would give us enough of a lead and tried to fight it and we both nearly got killed, both used flash and I used heal.

Farm up to level 2 and 3, and there's still nothing to do against him. Base early because of the bad exchange, then proceeded to get zoned out of minions. Can't use the minion wave to avoid blitz grabs and the rest is history...

So I ask, what do you do? If morde gets full xp in a duo lane and thus will definitely outlevel (and thus outscale) you, but you can't win early fights against him even despite a huge harass lead, how do you stop him from destroying lane? At what point of the game is he weak? Once he gets a few items last hitting with abilities is a joke. Early he just last hits and ignores your harass because he's just that tanky?

Note that I'm assuming he has a tanky support. Opponents have full control over their picks, you can't count on them being dumb enough to bring a squishy support to a morde lane.

I mean it's a pretty high winrate right now, I honestly can't see why it's good either but somehow whenever I play it or someone else does it ends up morde being fed.

You kite him. The only part of his kit that hurts at all now is his Q and even then it's mainly the 3rd Q. The logic behind is the same as Darius. He has no reason catching you but if he does you're dead for letting someone who can be kited so easily catch up to you.

I have yet to see morde be an issue and I find it funny how he's even a threat after all the bitching on the boards ahh good times

Well to be fair, his support is the reason he catches up to you. Blitzcrank, leona, thresh, braum, you name it - any tanky support has engage and cc. That's kind of why I explicitly put in the thread I'm assuming he has a tanky support, because he's worthless without one.

I just had a ranked game with him, I picked Zilean and waited for the lane phase to end. Just, don't try to beat him in lane. It's basically the same logic with Riven, wait until she is about level 9 to kill her. Because balance.

Edit Ganking with an aggressive jungler, is good though!

You pick a hyper carry and farm up until lategame and ask your jungler to camp him. Other then that it's alot better to hava a real adc in the mid / lategame. You can't really trade with him since he got the sustain, minion advantage and a shield. So the thing you can do is farm and if you are forced to farm then pick something that scales very well and has high range like Ashe, Jinx, Trist and Kog'maw.

You don't.

Or at least not in the traditional sense. Mordekaiser has a LOT of power in lane if paired with the correct support, so he's essentially a lane bully in that sense. Key to beating Morde is to simply outscale him with champs that both stat check him late game and are able to kite/peel away from his Qs.

You just need to keep in mind that Mordekaiser's greatest strengths are his early to mid game power spikes and all in fights. Don't step on either of these territories because Morde beats almost all ADCs in these areas, and focus on other specialties that ADCs have access to.

Dont feed him in lane and he will become useless.
