Dear Riot, about Urgot

So his update is soon and im wondering if we are allowed to know the direction hes heading in? Without spoilers of course.

Urgot is definitely in a weird place? He's a marksman, but also a tank. Ranged, but his ult makes him go in.

So what style IS Urgot, or What does Riot think it SHOULD be?

Is he going to embrace his Marksman Tank nature (although I don't know how useful that would be, a tank in your back line) Or is he gonne become more damage heavy. His ult will definetly be changed, that or the rest of his kit will. (although i do like his ult, its good for saving allies time) Is he going to still have his homing-arm Nuke launcher?

I dont really want to know specifics, just if anyone knows what Urgot IS.

I've heard that Urgot is going to be changed to a kind of bruiser/chaser so that he can use his ultimate with more reliable results, and scrap the whole "ranged weapons platform" kit that he has right now. Either that or they're going to modernize his "ranged weapons platform" play style and scrap his ultimate because I might have this completely backwards lmao

The lock-on missiles are Urgot's most iconic feature, and Riot's been pretty good about keeping what makes champions iconic in reworks.

(His ultimate's arguably iconic too, but only because it's the most distinct case of 'why does this champion even have this ability' in the game.)

urgot was invented to counter adcs and people have moved away from that and started using him top lane. if u have a supp who can cc youll rape lane every time

I mained Urgot all the way to Diamond. His ult is awesome and his Lock-On mechanic is awesome.

I like his unique playerstyle of being a Ranged AD Caster (He is not a Marksman nor a Tank, He's like a ranged Diver)

His passive, W, and E are probably up for change. I hope they keep his ultimate in some way. They'll probably change his Q even though it really doesnt need to be changed.
