Mercs are only good in solo lane if your enemy laner has lots of cc and does magic damage

The tenacity you purchase them for doesn't translate well into team fights anymore with knockups and displacements galore. Not to mention tenacity does nothing to help you catch stupid mobile champions. Knock ups need some sort of counter option now. Although it would nerf many older champions who basically live and die on knock-ups (malph, cho etc) riot should've thought about that before randomly giving out free knock ups to all their new champions like candy.
