Can we stop forcing Riot to make everyone viable everywhere.

I get it, diversity is nice in roles. But a lot of the time it can cause people that REALLY are only viable in one spot to die out entirely.

Ziggs for example. Players made Riot PROMISE to not make Ziggs gutted in the bot lane.

But the issue is because champions are so diverse. The support role has been claimed by AP Mages. Because since they are viable Mid, let them be viable bot, then make it so that we don't nerf them. Because if we did that, they wouldnt be viable bot anymore.

Stop making everylane diverse. Its how we ended up in this FUCKED UP meta to begin with. We have seen 4 MASSIVELY different metas in 4 patches.

Let top be bruisers and fighters, and tanks, and the occasional wierd marksman that doesnt work bot. Let Jungle (actually jungle doesnt get much flak as its the only role taking AWAY people from viability Fiddlesticks item 3070 ) Let Mid be assassins and mages AND LEAVE BOT AS ADC AND SUPPORT.

I dont care if you dont like marksman, they are a 6th of the roster, Riots insane need to make people viable everywhere is what caused the situation we are in now.

Why is that an issue? The fact that there is less diversity?

Let me remind you Keystones were added to add diversity

The insanely abusable juggernaut items were added to add diversity

The biggest issue right now is there is so much diversity in champs, that you can take them anywhere. But less diverse champs like Leona or Garen suffer. Having lanes or classes locked in a base role MAKES THE GAME EASIER TO BALANCE.

no itdoesnt because then champs get balanced in a vacuum, instead of balancing against the roster they're balanced against whatever their meta lane match ups are

which is exactly why we get stupid shit like Quinn top and Ziggs bot in the first place, not to mention all these mage supports

balancing in a vaccuum may not be as thrilling, but its easier. It almost guarantees we dont have this shitty of metas.

And we get dumb shit like that not because they work, but because someone convinces Riot that they can work in that lane and to please keep that viable, instead of what they should do and nerf them if he needs nerfs. And if that results in them not being viable in off lanes then oh well at least they are balanced where they should be.
