Please start making hybrid scaling champions again, and possibly another hybrid item
This game see's less and less hybridization every year It makes me sad because I like dynamic champs with versatile itemization.

Hybrid damage is problematic in the game though. You'll notice that almost all of the champions who deal hybrid damage are hamstringed in some sense, to the point where they're viable, but not truly to a point where they could ever be meta. This is because hybrid damage is insanely difficult to defend against. I'm not saying hybrid options shouldn't exist - it works well on champions like Tristana or Hecarim who can go either way and give up some in one direction to have power in the other - but in general, it's not great for game health. That's why Jax and Corki are barrel scrapers right now, and why Evelynn has had such an awkward kit over the years.
%max HP true damage is perfectly healthy gameplay though :^)
My main :D
Hybrids are hard to balance because they are really hard to itemize defensibly against.
In order to balance them riot uses the a two pronged method. Shitty early game in order to give the enemy time to beat them before they become unstoppable and they usually scale (mostly) with something else. Jax and Kayle both scale with attack speed and are hampered severely by aa speed reductions.
akali scales due to her numbers but she would function the exact same if you changed her to scalings to pure ap or ad. q r aa e aa and w whenever for safety. Additionally a majority of her damage (about 2/3rds) is magic so while her ad component is still significant I still mostly see her as a mage assasin regardless of what she builds.
currently the only hybrid champ viable imo
are kinda good tho
jax and akali?
nop
kayle? pretty sure she builds nashor into rabadon into void staff, but that was in season 4, i didn't see kayle since a long time
Why does everyone hate Jax? xd http://lolalytics.com/champion/Jax/Jungle/ doesnt look bad and he always shits on me lol.
Kayle also builds Hurricane and Rageblade, sometimes Wits End.
AP Jax is actually quite busted especially with his W, if you've never tried that.
You consider shaco as hybrid or you mean more in the lines of jax?

I kinda like the concept of Shaco as a Hybrid, simply because the duel scaling is their, mostly to diversify his kit. That is to say that AD Shaco and AP Shaco are two completely different play styles. But that in mind, you really wouldn't try to reconcile the two builds, that would just lead to a crap build.
The weird part about Jax and Kayle is, because they are AA focused, AD is never a terrible stat for them, even if they would prefer AP. And because they are AA focused, they can forgo items that most mages would need. (notably mana itemization) Of coarse if your going to make a new champ similar to that, how would you make them differ from Either Jax of Kayle?
My main question is Why? Simply to have a Duel scaling champion doesn't justify making one. Their should be a notable reason for making a champion that can scale off of Either stat for different effect. But I don't actually think a champ with both AD and AP scaling (Like Jax) just to make use of hybrid items is really that good. While it will diversify his build options at first, He's going to be balanced around his optimal build. (And any other build becomes sub optimal)
No thanks they're cancer.
Playing against hybrid champions isn't easy if they get ahead it's difficult to manage because you don't know what exactly to build to survive
I agree - but we really need a well done On-Hit Rework first, changing On-Hits to an actual and easy to understand Stat! Than we can talk about more Hybrid Champions and Items.
