Seriously, allow us to delete Rune Preset pages and add a 'Minimal Spec Mode'
This, tied to how damn slow and buggy the client is, I have to wait through all the flashy animations and sound effects of creating a rune page even on low spec mode which takes me to the very last few seconds of champion select even if I'm in the first half of the picks, and the client still locks in a preset page?
Why are these mandatory on accounts higher than Lv. 30?? You already give everyone a base amount of 2 pages free for us to customize however the hell we want as well as allowing us to buy with BE a ton more pages, why keep the presets mandatory then??
On that topic, I've already made a thread about this some time ago, if we're in Low Spec mode (which you kinda force us to with how excessively bloated the client is with flashy but ultimately unnecessary animations and sound effects), why still keep animations and sound effects? Isn't Low Spec mode specifically for people who can't run your overly bloated flashy (and borderline pretentious) client? My computer/laptop is not bad by any means, I used to be able to run regular spec mode absolutely smoothly until a year or two ago where the client had a sudden surge in lag universally.
If you really wanna keep your flashy animations and sound effects, then introduce a 'Minimal Spec Mode'. If you really don't want people to see how 'static' it'd be, just issue a warning prompt saying that the client will look a lot more dull and static. Knowing all the rune placements off by heart in Runes Reforged, I used to be able to make a new rune page in champion select within perhaps 6 to 7 seconds, now to lock each rune in I need to wait like 2 to 4 seconds for it to lag, THEN play its animation and flashy audio cue. You guys say that you know how broken the client is and your first priority is to fix any bugs or lag that'll directly interfere with gameplay, but that doesn't seem to hold up at all.
Doesn't matter how nice the client looks, if its looks breach upon the performance and functionality, no one's gonna like it.
Definitely can add this to the huge list of client issues.
