Chinese Translator just mistranslated FPX Tian and may have accidentally spurred heat amongst Worlds

Tian said that after Worlds he wants everyone in Europe (G2's homeland) to be chanting FPX, not to have Europe be silenced in G2's defeat.

Now in Worlds Cooldown they're talking about international trashtalking due to the Chinese translator's mistranslation.

Big oof.

The actual words of Tian, in Mandarin (written in Traditional Mandarin), is as follows:

"多少機會我不清楚, 但我希望我們可以在決賽遇到G2. 因為這裡是歐洲的主場, 我希望最後的時候就是全場所有人喊FunPlus的隊名."

The actual translation is as follows:

"I am not sure how much chances (against G2 and SKT), but I hope we run into G2 in the finals. Because this is the home turf of the Europe, I hope in the end everyone in the crowd would shout/cheer the name of FunPlus."

But got translated to:

"I don't know about our chances, but I hope it's G2 that we face. Because this is Europe's home court, and at the end of it I want the crowd to be silent and look at FPX win the championship."

nvm it doesn't work here, but it's at 5 hrs, 8 min, and 52 secs of this video, as you can see in the url if you decide to quote this post. Or alternatively, you can just copy the url to a separate tab of your browser and it should work.

I actually had wondered if it was mistranslated when they said it. Because the things he said before, and the things he said after, seemed like they were more respectful. Like " we'll try our best to make a good show" and things like that. It seemed more striking/more strongly worded than the other phrases.
