I'm pretty much sick of the player distribution in this game.

I'm not great by any means, I'm silver. I get it. But I'm sick of this system perpetuating the idea that I'm at the same level as my tank anivia support, the guy who facetanks the 15 kill pantheon, the Garen with 30 cs at 15 minutes, or the 1/13 xin zhao, or the fizz support who fed, or any of the other atrocities I see on a regular basis.

MAKE PLAYER DISTRIBUTION A BELL CURVE. I literally made 4 topics on this in the past and I'm at the point where I want a red response on why this is set up this way or I'm quitting this game.

Dumping 80% of your population into bronze and silver is a terrible idea, the skill disparity is MASSIVE. This makes playing with these people aggravating. It makes playing AGAINST these people just as bad because I didn't learn a skill, I didn't improve my mechanics, I got fed because my lane opponent was incompetent. It's as simple as that.

Riot: You have to accept that you have a problem that decent people are made utterly toxic playing ranked in this game. I've had chat restrictions because YOUR SYSTEM IS INFURIATING. You want to restrict people for being salty and toxic while promoting a system that fundamentally makes people salty and toxic.

MAKE PLAYER DISTRIBUTION A BELL CURVE

Lol.

If everyone played on a regular basis, I'd give a system like that maybe a week at most before it averages back into the distribution we have today.

This is to be expected after the MMR reset. Practically everyone gets placed somewhere below where they were last season. If you really are good enough to be in the rank you were before the reset, you should be able to climb back up there within a month or so of ranked at the most. Then you'll be playing against players of your skill level or higher again. If the people you're playing with are as bad as you say you should be able to carry yourself out of their level relatively quickly.

The OP is right the skill disparity right now is absurd, but it is gradually getting better as people move toward their natural rank.
