Ezreal/Yummi has to be one of the most tedious and infuriating lanes to fight against

I'd MUCH rather lane against Yuumi than someone like Blitz, Pyke, or Thresh honestly.
Riot has scarificed good and interesting gameplay for change's sake. That is what happened with Yummi and Pyke. They tried something new, they created something obnoxious and they are not able to fix the problems they created
Its really not that bad. They both really lack early damage; Yuumi because support income, Ezreal because Ez generally wants to go klepto for mid/late game with tear rush.
Yuumi also has pretty god awful sustain, and is beaten by sona/nami/etc etc pretty handily.
The biggest advantage this lane has is Yuumi's primary counters, blitzcrank/naut etc, is soft countered by ez, which allows the yuumi to get to mid/late and transition to the beefy frontline she wants to be on primarily.
Its much more annoying than it is actually strong. Though you can dodge yuumi's Q easier if you watch which side of the minions shes aiming over and walk forward on the other side. She will usually hit a minion. (assuming it is safe to do so)
Yuumi's Q CD is high enough that relic shield procs will keep you healthy for the most part.
In all honesty, yi+yuumi is the most infuriatingly toxic experience i'e ever had.
Cc him or not, she heals half of his hp with every E and he just doesn't die and pentakills your team
Don't worry! Playing support for ezreal and adc for yuumi are the most tedious things to do the majority of the time, so at least you're not the only one experiencing it!

There is way too much safety in the game right now. All the new champs and reworks are getting loads of sustain or shields. There is no risk vs reward anymore. No wonder trying to balance this is a constant failure. It isn't fun at all.

They need to start reworking their latest horrible champions. It may take a year or two but reworking the 10-20 most annoying champs would be worth their time.
Basically any new champ made or reworked in the last 2 years needs to be scrapped.
They can poke you all they want, but only the ADC is allowed to poke back, and only with autos.

If you ever run into that as an ADC, do yourself and your team a favor and dodge.
Side note; if Morde R didnt detach yuumi, YuumixMordekaiser bot lane would be pretty nifty.
Imagine laning against 2 mages in ARURF while you're stuck with a non-ranged champ.
