Idea for Leavers/AFK's in ranked

What if when someone left a game that all players would lose 20LP for, the rest of the players on his team would lose only a percentage of that (say 13) while the player who left would lose the entire amount + the sum of the percentage of the other 4 players on the team (so in this case 48). I think this would be something that could lessen the blow to players with a leaver or AFK while also giving a bit harsher of a punishment for the player who leaves.

This would also mean that if the player really had a real world emergency to deal with, then that person could take some of the burden off of his team he needs to leave.

you have a half assed attempt to quell the people suffering from the afker, thats something
you have punished the afker, that always makes everyone feel better
you have not detered afkers from happening, so people will continue to accuse this system and just bout every other system anyone will come up with as "useless" or "nothings being done"

Yes I am not saying this will solve the issue, but IMO it will certainly make it better for those who have an AFK'er and worse for the player who leaves. It is more of a short term suppression of the issue.

annnd I forgot bout the other part of my response I dont speak for Riot, but my gut tells me that they are hesitant about anything that could mitigate the consequences of losing for they can be abused, who knows
