SirLapse1 votesShe became one of the top junglers immediately after that rework. In high elo as well, so not just the usual Shyvana farming all day. After jungle changes she can't sustain as well as she used to, but her dueling and mid game damage is still one of the best in the whole game. Olaf in comparison needs to get ahead and has the toolkit early rather than by mid game to do so.
Smite/Teleport top lane was what allowed top lane Shyvana to exist regardless--garbage waveclear, easy to kite (both of which already make you a useless top laner), and no good TP plays till lv6.

She was thoroughly gutted all around. She's forced to jungle, and even in the jungle she's sort of shitty.

Sohleks1 votesShe's so straightforward that despite her drawbacks Riot isn't serious about her high level viability. Without high level visibility she gets a limited market of players and no screentime and little attention. A lot like Garen.
Yas/Zed/Lee can execute more mechanix displaying so much skill and fun
Olaf which is "the same champ" has intense enough micro to not be overly easy so he can be good when played well
Riot also has a hard on for utility champions and "dependent carries" because it creates a gameplay model for teamwurk. So while high mechanix assassins fit one bill they don't fit that one.
They also love ranged and may never fix the difficult problem of their laning advantage because they have more depth in positioning.
Shyvana doesn't make it into any of these camps.
Xavanic1 votesyeah, but i dont look for kit design, i want unique champs in terms of their character design, its one of the reasons i find most human champs (riven/shen/lee/zed/garen/yasuo/darius/etc.) boring asf
