I'll type slowly so you can follow along.
One of the reasons the many Foreign Countries cite for disliking visiting Americans is because there is a stereo-type that we expect the Foreign Countries to speak OUR Language... despite being in THEIR Country.
I'm not one that holds such a belief... as I said, when in Rome do as the Romans.
So if you go to France... be prepared to speak French. You go to China, break out the Mandarin.
You go to an NA Server... be ready to Speak English.
Not a hard concept.
If I wanted to play on the Korean Server... I'd look into learning a bit of Korean. The stuff that can get me by, like "Where is the bathroom", "I'd like the Fried Rice" and "Flanking to Dive the ADC!"
It should be incumbent on the Guest to learn the Host Language. That goes for American's on Non-English Servers as well, I get just as pissed at those guys.
So I'm not going to visit your house in Japan, and expect you and your family (since you are FROM Japan) to speak English. I'm going to take it upon myself to HONOR my HOST, by speaking their language.
What's difficult about that concept?
You don't have to be able to read the original copies of "The Art of War", but have the common decency to get some BASICS DOWN.
In League, we all know those Basics. "Backing!" "Baron Call!" "Dragon!" "Disengage!" "Shopping/Items!"
I'm not saying some one should learn the entire damn dictionary, but if you are on a Server that has a Majority Language (like NA has), then have the common decency to be able to communicate in that Language. If you can't, then regulate yourself to the Ping System.
This isn't earth shattering, or rocket science. I would expect this for EVERY Server, and every GUEST of those Host Servers.
It is FAR easier for that one person to pick up the Host Language enough to communicate things like "Engage!" than it is for the Host to learn every Visiting Language, yes?
