The minions changes as a comeback mechanic might have worked if...

The buffs turned off at some point.

The idea was that the wave would spend more time in safer territory for a behind laner and it made freezing the lane when ahead harder so that behind laners could powerfarm near tower and try to get back in the game, right? But since those buffs never expire, once laning ends it's like having a splitpusher marching down any lane you weren't winning while you're trying to handle the other team who grouped up.

Everyone now gets homeguards as a buff at 20, maybe turn off the strengthened minion mechanic at 20 or 25?

Or make it a buff that minions only get when near fallen outer and inner turrets? Say 700 unit radius.

That would make freezing the lane posible but not make the buff have no value in keeping pressure up.

It could also be a say flat 20% boost to damage and nothing else.

Ironfield

i think after 15 minutes the buff should only be applied to winning side of the map, so after minions cross river the buff is gone.
