Oh and also the fact that I'm against a high gold (who is a smurf, and is 17/3) and a gold 5 when I'm in silver 2 and my team is made up of low silvers. Definitely not weird at all!
HeyItzSteve2 votesI mean, Gold 5 and Silver 2 aren't huge differences. I can beat a Gold 1 or even a Plat 5 while I'm a Gold 5. There are many factors behind the actual rank. Their MMR could be tanking from losses, they are boosted, they are playing a champion they are good with, you counter them, etc.
Although I always get shitty teammates in promos, it's just unlucky even though it feels rigged.

But when my team feeds to the point that a Shaco is 17/3 and literally one shots people... yeah not much I can do. And no, I looked them up and they routinely go 10/X or better, so they're an obvious smurf, and I'm convinced they're being paid to boost the guy he was queued with who was awful.
