It's day 9 of playing assassins in an adc meta

The rations are getting tough. Leblanc went in on the ezreal and barely came out alive (God bless gunblade) Katarina got one shot by tristana yesterday, I miss her around here. Ahri is probably going to get nerfed again so she is going to be more mage now. Lb 2.0

WinTheWarOnPants (NA) Evelynn is having AP withdraws. She hasn't come out of stealth in weeks. She keeps saying that she's gonna kill vayne any day now, but we all here her screaming at night "JANNA STOP! PLEASE!" while she sleeps. A new recruit showed up. Her name is Shyvana. Her AP burst is the best i've seen in a long time, maybe we still have a chance? maybe we still have hope? Shyvana died today. She tried her best, but she was gunned down in melee range like an animal after her full combo failed to kill twitch. We don't know what to do. Is there any chanc--- oh no! he's here! twitch just appeared out of no where! talon is already dead! i think he's co(journal entry ends*.)

To be fair, it's also kind of dependent on which ADC. Vayne/Trist/Ez outplay you, Kog/Twitch kill you before you reach them, Draven is a tank.

Situation 1, kind of sucks but you are essentially relying on them to suck. And then you can kill them.

Situation 2 - if you can somehow get the jump on them before they start hitting you, you win. A few assassins can do that.

Situation 3 - Not ADC. Doesn't apply.

Trist is another turret ADC, having mobility or peel isn't ouplaying.

A lategame or luckycrits Vayne doesn't need to outplay, just R and use Q invis.

Ezreal can do some good shit with dat blink but he lacks dmg with his normal build.

item 3146 Is the only way to kill/survive a duel with an adc in this meta. Sucks, bad players are not being punished for their mistakes, instead being treated like the golden goose and having 4 people on their team dedicated to keeping them alive. I know every meta has its downsides (unkillable tanks, hardcore poke from mages, 1 shotting from assassins) but is there anything worse than the adc meta? No seriously, think about it. In every other meta you can focus on your on gameplay to try and win. In this meta your only goal in life should be to keep some dipshit alive even when he is meleeing their frontline. One player becomes the single most important person on your team, and for me that ruins my game experience. I know I'm not the only one either. I'm sure preseason will buff up mages/assassins and the game will be fun again but as is... I'll be chillin on TT

Well, Katarina builds gunblade.

All the AD has to do is either kill her before the dagger falls in 2.5 sec, which they can.

Avoid the dagger, which they can.

Face tank the dagger damage with lifesteal and their item 3046 item 3812, which they can

Or in Tristana case, make sure she never touches the dagger, which she can.

Akali builds gunblade, and there is no hope of her ever reaching the ADC in a fight unless they're straight up afk.

That's why she's a glorified split pusher now.

LB's kinda having a hard time in some tiers of play. Ahri might be suffering in top tier, but I almost never lose with her, as long as I'm not laning against an assassin.

Ahri is having a very hard time. Except this is more in highelo, any champ does well in lowelo.

LB is having a hard time doing an assasin job at any part of the game, you can't proc passive without losing a lot of hp, but she can still be a weaker mage with looooooots of mobility.

Ahri charm is a kill in mid/late and her true dmg+mobility make her pretty good .

you cant be a burst champion if your burst is low. either you have it or you dont being lower burst than other burst champions is completely irrelevant

Her burst is low comparatively to other burst champions. She is still a burst champion, but suffers more from being behind and isn't as strong when ahead since her numbers are lower. A behind Ahri is near useless, and an ahead Ahri can be frustrating to deal with but not worse than a fed Talon, Zed, LeBlanc, Syndra, etc.

Oh no, assassins need to rely on their teammates now (if they don't 2 lvls above the adc or ahead) wtf? Rely on teammates in a team work game? Riot pls..

why I can't just go and kill the adc when he is solo? adc's are too mobile.. they just need to stand there and let the teammates peel for them.. their kit should have 0 escape, right?

1)I think you were missing that this was somewhat of a joke. \Also I think it's pretty funny when you forgot the point of an assassin was to kill an adc until assassins got nerfed for "counterplay" so now adcs are almost always victorious 1v1ing an assassin

They're supposed to be lone wolves who pick off priority targets who misposition, aka an adc wandering on their own with no wards.

But now mispositioning ADCs one shot the assassins.

I was a fed akali today, Vayne was horridly alone by herself in bot lane with no wards. I chose not to do it, knowing if she was a good vayne all she has to do is condem, ult Q, and im gone.

To be fair, Vayne has always been the anti Assassin ADC, so that's nothing new. The only assassins that could really pose a threat to her are Zed Fizz and maybe Talon if he surprised her, just because their all ins cant really be prevented

that is actually the bruisers job. but everything you said about assassins ring true for bruisers too. Assassins are supposed to do that in a team fight while ignoring the front line though not reliably.

Bruisers aren't really lone wolves because they can actually fight well 5v5, due to building moderately tanky, compared to assassins. That's why assassins have been relegated to side lanes nowadays.

please dont call 4 hp tank items 1 tank boots and 1 offensive tank item a bruiser. because id like to teamfight rather than split and gank solos or duos Jax same here Irelia signme up JarvanIV idk whats going on here but let me in LeeSin (lee sin has everything but still) side lanes can split push itself we need a troll mid Trundle Aatrox Yorick . I mean its obvious all of our skills scale with hp and not ad why would we want any of that nasty shit.

For bruisers, I go Two tank items (one of each resistance), then a bunch of tanky AD items xD

So like for Irelia I'd go item 3078 item 3047 (or item 3111) item 3065 item 3742(or item 3143)

Then these are situational item 3748/item 3022/item 3153/item 3156/item 3026

If i have to build 2 full tank items tank boots and another hp item with 400 wait hp was nerfed 300 or more hp that is no longer a bruiser build and is a Juggarnaut / off tank build expecially if i have to build item 3748 too. Titanic has no place in bruiser builds Juggarnauts maybe but not bruisers. Idk how you find sucess but I can have item 3111 and item 3065 and mages still take 70% of my hp before i reach them AND I can have item 3047 and item 3742 (not that i have built the item recently) and item 3075 and still melt with 70% of my hp gone before 3 seconds gone. and i say 70% because that is the get the hell out threshhold for bruisers because gone are the days of 2 lifesteal items and a large attack speed item that allow you to fight your way back in after brurst.

You must be super behind because item 3211 is all it takes to really negate a mage's damage in lane lmao and out of lane item 3065 basically cuts it unless you're behind or they're monstrously ahead

That's a really bad Leblanc.

Assassages certainly need help, but there's no excuse for a Leblanc to almost lose a 1v1 to an Ezreal.

Well, LB is shit right now, for one, and her late game is much, much worse.

In the time her chain takes to go off, if he doesn't dodge it, he can pump a fucktillion autos and Qs into her.

Her passive makes it impossible to duel an ADC unless she's super ahead, where she can just W, auto, Gunblade, Q, RQ, Auto

Try building item 3031 item 3087 on top of u normal assassin builds ( those builds should include item 3812 ).

Works wonders against both squishies and tanks.

Try Zed paired with a taric support. Taxi in the W for E stun and the ADC is deleted before they can drain back up. Ardent can't help what can't attack.

I feel like it's not hard to get talon off your adc as the support, especially after 9 when I can swap for the sweeper. Talon can't kill anybody when he's sona stunned... + any decent mid laner who isn't underestimating talons early damage or know how he works will probably say lol to him. If I'm playing Kat mid and a talon misses his rake, he's probably dead, same with mages, punish when his rake Is down. But im sure he'd be low-key op since lots of people don't seem to know how he works.

Basically as long as you don't allow him to proc his passive he can't kill you.
