I honestly don't get why they are nerfing Morgana while Vayne and Riven are running wild?

I've been playing Morg mid and she is not OP at all. Riot seems she is OP because of some strange win rate statistics but no one has been complaining on the boards about Morg tearing up the rift.

Meanwhile, Vayne and riven are out of control and its totally fine some reason. I know Riven win rate is higher than morg but they arn't doing shit and vayne is crushing it right with the Q ult cooldown buffs.

In the meantime I'm getting my Morg mid lane shoved in because my W cost 130 mana, which is more than any ult in the game.

Because neither Vayne nor Riven has a high ban rate. Even if people hate them, people still don't ban them, in favor of Morg/Zed/Yasuo etc

Yasuo's had a higher ban rate than morgana for significantly longer than she has, yet went without nerfs for several months and only got a slap on the wrist when he was. So that argument falls flat.

Because a reduction in crit damage from 80% to 60% and a base AD value reduction, loss of your core item, reduction of substitute items' crit rates, and movement speed bonuses.... are totally "A slap on the wrist."

Riot admitted the delayed the nerfs because of Worlds/end of season Tournament play.

Riot has also explicitly came out and said: Here's a graph of win rates vs ban rates of champions, and this is what we use to decide whether to nerf or buff a champion.

In other words..... they admitted Yasuo generally doesn't get touched because he has bad Win rates, even if his ban rate is high.

Morgana has both a high win rate AND ban rate.

We could further discuss Yasuo and why he's actually obnoxious, but that's an argument between one person versed in logistics, versus people who are not, and I'd rather avoid that conversation.

That's 60% bonus damage by the way, still doing more than normal auto-attacks. Loosing 3AD is hardly a nerf, not to mention when a core item gives +80AD. Never mind they reverted the critical item nerfs from the previous seasons.

Indeed, it's been done before and I've read that post, I also pointed out looking only at the three rates is only a partial perspective of gameplay problems.

Hmm an anti-engage champion is doing well in an telefrag meta, what are the chances? Things like this are why I say balance in general is a problem.

If you want to give a backhanded compliment, don't bother because it requires sarcasm to work, which you should know fails in a purely text format. Sounds more like an excuse to dodge counterarguments.

No ....... it substitutes for his CRIT BONUS.

In other words, unlike other champions, Yasuo doesn't gain 100% damage from Critting. he gained 80%. Now 60%.

When he has an IE this goes up to 1.60 *1.82.5 times normal damage.

I mean..... if you want to call all crit damage bonus damage on every champ that takes crit, by all means.....

because both vayne and riven have scheduled nerfs on pbe

albo because morgana is a cancerous champion which exists only to stop interactions between two teams

Riven is a very technical champion to play, thus she is not easy to play. Having to know a variety of things like proper ability rotation, auto-attack cancelling, etc...is complicated. She is fine as is, those higher win rates are likely in higher elos where Riven is more common

As for Vayne there are other ADCs that can out burst/damage her, so they have no real reason to nerf her. The only reason she is a bit rampant right now is due to some nerfs on other champions

Morg to you may not be OP, but she has; 2 CC abilities, a decent AoE and a "get out of jail" spell shield, plus she can be easily played in mid and bot
