Simply how the players talk, interact, and who they pick, and the match up. I always know when we are going to lose, but I can't dodge without losing the ip so I play it out. Anyone else that this uncanny ability? I always tell myself to dodge..... but for some reason I get a feeling we just MIGHT pull out a win. Then we get shit stomped and I shake my head.
VITEV0093 votesI don't know your rank, but in lower tiers where I am I always tell people to pick who they're good at and not worry about counters because it truly is better than playing someone you're iffy at. I'm sure in higher tiers match ups matter more, but I don't judge a book by their covers. Hell I've won my last 4 games as Xerath support and my team always rages at me in pre game chat, funny how they stop raging when you actually do well and get them kills.

Almost always throw picks teemo, Vlad, ez, graves, blitz, kassadin, j4, Alistar, rumble, alkali, kat. Dunno maybe that's just my experience though

Funny, cause I agree. All of those picks are just throws. I'll also add Yi. I actually find most people that pick Kat in Silver win..... because no one ever CC's her, and they just take her ult like noobs.
Doogmi1 votesI haven't been in silver for awhile but I could see that happening lol. I think Ali and morg are solid picks but whenever they are on my team I get the Ali that can't combo or headbutts the enemy to safety. And the morg that misses all her qs and is late with every spell shield.
RickDodger1 votesI usually have that feeling before going into the start game. I just go with my gut instinct when i'm inspired to try a game or not, and usually having a bad feeling means I should wait it out for a better pick.

But the problem is, once at least half the team realizes "Oh (expletive), our comp is trash/someone is trolling and we're gonna get stomped", I feel it becomes a game of chicken. In the end, no one dodges because none of them want to lose LP or some of them are in their promo series. Your team then proceeds to get wrecked while you guys continue to argue about who's at fault, followed by a series of angry reports. Solo Queue is indeed a struggle
