Akali is actually unplayable.
She is legitimately the worst assassin in the game.
She cannot reliably one shot any target anymore because she is forced to play her own walk out of the circle minigame just for a bit of burst so all her damage is backloaded and completely unreliable.
LB, Diana and Kata just combo all their abilities in one go and one shot with easy front loaded damage.
Akali’s ultimate could maybe one shot a target or targets, but because there is a 2.5 second delay between casts that dream is thrown out the window.
The only thing going for this champion is the Shroud. The Shroud allows her to do anything in the game rather than her being a wasted, useless pick. There is a reason why Riot gave Akali this Shroud with obscured because it allows her to at least try to deal damage with her backloaded kit by diving under towers.
Next patch we say RIP to Akali. That 30 heal from her Q that she has to wait for 180energy+ is going. And her Shroud will no longer obscure her when diving under enemy turrets. After 9.3, Akali is dead.
