Since this game has become all about ADC's, can Riven still solo carry a game if played correctly?

She's good if played correctly, but she is quite hard to play currently. She suffers from her lack of tankiness and sustain. She also is almost useless from behind. So a situational pick at best. But yes, she can carry.

Yes. As with much of the meta, you'll struggle against a good ranged top. But she's still incredibly deadly and one of the most hypercarry-unbalanced-fed champions in the game if she takes a lead, which isn't hard to do against a melee opponent.

When she wins, she really, really wins. And a fed Riven is one of the few champions that literally just laughs at turrets and dives under them with abandon, even by midgame, due to her extreme ability to burst, dash, and shield all in the same combo.

Absolutely still a solo 1v5 carry when 3+ levels up and/or with a significant item lead.

What you said is true (and this case goes for many other champions aswell) but Riven becomes useless in late if you don't finish the game quickly (let's say you're fed Riven). 25+ mins is usually the deadline where everything changes to the worse. U just want a new game by then.

Sure - though I'd argue that it's more like 30-40 minutes if you're seriously ahead.

Yes, she falls off at level 18 full build versus any of the infinite-scaling champs ( Ryze Nasus Veigar ), unkillable full tank builds, or some of the really overpowered late game team comps.

But if she's level 15 with four items while everyone else is level 13 with two - and a good Riven gets there reasonably often - she can singlehandedly wipe out the entire enemy team. She is one of the scariest champions in the game in that instance.

I've seen it happen enough times to certainly say that I never underestimate the matchup.
