@Meddler, are we still getting another 20% CDR mage item?

I remember reading somewhere riot was working on a new ap item with 20% CDR. Are there any updates on this? Will it be another health/ap item for immobile mages?

I want an Armor and Health item with 10% CD. sometimes i hate having to run CD runes instead of MR or buy item 3025 / item 3110 on champions that dont need it or dont utilize it fully.

Tank CDR Armor --> item 3110 + item 3025 MR ---> item 3065 + item 3190 (and item 3001 it can work on some tanks) HP --> item 3083 (did I miss any?)

CDR options on MR items aren't all that great either especially if you want to stack MR and get to 40% CDR

And really most tank champions can make use out of item 3110 it gives 20% CDR 90 armor and an aura which reduce enemy AA DPS by 15% (if they don't have auto attack resets) and some mana which usually isn't all that important or useful

You forgot Ohmwrecker (understandably) which has the desired combo of armor, health, and cdr.

Though they may have actually removed it from the game, can't remember when I last saw it.

Yeah, but it's a tad bit inefficient without the active, and the active is not great. Even if you want CDR, it's generally much better to buy a Deadman/Randuin than an Ohmwrecker.

I'd like to see it have the active changed to: Channel for up to 1 sec to suppress targeted enemy champ.

Would finally give teams with very little cc a way to counter hard carries, would not help with dueling potential since it effectively suppresses you as well. Might act as a buff to lockdown tanks like Leona, but would allow champs like Yi to be less obnoxious when viable.

Oh right that item... Yeah nobody use it... though if it lost the active and got better stats it would probably be pretty decent item with CDR + point runner (MS around turrets or remains of dead turrets) + armor + hp

Yeah, pointrunner is a GREAT passive, especially if you plan to splitpush a lot, and zz'rot is a super item. But Ohmwrecker is underwhelming. I'm really happy they plan to add raptor cloak to the talisman of ascension build path in next patch.

Point runner can also be good for champions looking to engage if the enemy likes grouping in mid

I mean...that's why Warmog's gives 10% CDR now.

Morellonomicon is already the ideal item for that kind of build: GW secures kills Mana reset lets you follow up on a kill with your escape Most of the rest of the budget is a lot of raw AP

I think the best place to put it would be to take off 100 health and 20 AP from Rylai's Crystal Scepter and replace it with 20% cdr.

I think they spoke about an alternative to Morello, and that they were still looking into how to properly differentiate the 2 items. So probly something with AP+Mana+20%CDR but a different passive.

Why do we need 20% cdr? There are already 3 items that can be bought on essentially any Mage and give a total of 40% cdr (morellos, zhonyas, protobelt). If you don't want/need one of those then abyssal, lich bane, and nashor's are more champ defendant items that give another 40%.

I don't disagree that another cdr item might be nice but I don't see why just making it 10% wouldn't be fine as long as it wasn't super niche, maybe an item built out of lost chapter+ glacial shroud. 600 mana, 50 armor, 40 AP, 10% cdr Passive: Some sort of mana sustain

Bonus: Would finally have a counter to Zed that isn't Zhonyas.
