I would keep on reporting people but I don't get any feedback..

It feels so fucking bad when someone wishes death and cancer to your family or call you names and when you report him you don't get a feedback report..

I remember riot said something like "you might not get the feedback report but someone else who also reported him might get it"

Well honestly? It's a turn off..I stopped reporting toxic players because I feel like they never get banned..

I mean..it can't be..I've reported hundreds of players this season with only like 2-3 feedback reports...might as well stop taking the freaking time to report them..

Tbh theres no reason the system should not be able to notify on players you submitted a report on. In my experience if you don't get feedback it is because no action was taken. I've seen enough people advise suicide who continue to play weeks after. You bring it to the boards they say "You should just get over, why linger on a game that old?". Submit a ticket and they say they can't tell you what action they take in a copy paste post. Clearly they take no action, the report button is a placebo to make you feel a little less frustrated by the negativity of the community. I also notice the only time I've ever gotten feedback is when MULTIPLE players report, so regardless of what Riot says I believe # of reports per game matter. Only reasons I can think that Riot wouldn't want that information known is that it emboldens premades and causes more players to spam chat asking for 9x reports against said player.

Well, don't quote me on this one because I'm not a 100% sure, but I think it has to do with the Data Protection Regulation that came in Europe a few months ago. Basically a company that has to manage personal data is not allowed to give information of their players/customers/clients because it's illegal and they can get in trouble. That's my guess as to why we don't see report feedbacks anymore

That ruling makes literally 0%. Take for example the US 13th Amendment: Persons who are convicted of crimes forfeit their rights.

Just because these offenders are online doesn't automatically make them exempt from this logic, quite the contrary actually. Digital crimes hold higher penalties. Why the fuck the government is catering towards individuals that have already been proven of wrongdoing, I have no damned clue. They are coddling offenders at the expense of victims' mental well-being. That is NOT justice.

You want justice in socialism? What xD?

Breivik (if anyone remembers) proves how rotten the system is. Even after killing lots of innocent people you can still demand internet connection and xbox to your cell, otherwise it'd be... "inhumane threatment" :P

The system isn't meant to be fair and just. it's meant to be obstructive, so noone would bother trying to solve anything.

As far as I know, the Instant Feedback System notifications are notoriously inconsistent. Typically, they'll only notify the most recent player to submit a report before a punishment is implemented (and occasionally seem to not even manage that), so it stands to reason that there's actually very few players who would be receiving them, hence making it seem like punishments generally don't happen. The best advice I can give regarding the IFS notifications is; just don't rely on them to show up because you'll ultimately be disappointed.

I definitely agree that it sucks that the system is in such a state, but that doesn't mean we stop doing our due diligence and reporting toxic behaviours. One of the main factors with the punishment systems is that they rely heavily on feedback (being reports), and because there are a lot of players out there who genuinely think reports do nothing (not to mention all the lazy ones who just don't put in the effort), too many toxic players fly under the radar for too long. If you give up on using reports, you're basically opening the doors to the toxics. Don't be that guy.

as far as im aware instant feedback report only happens if you are the final report that gets them punished. just because you dont get the message doesnt mean that they haven't gotten punished, it just means your report wasn't the one that got them punished

If they're really toxic (telling you to kys or wishing death on your family) send a screen shot of the chat to support after the post game report. I assure you, they will deal with it.

Ya I really would like to get a notification if action is taken. Else I feel like Riot is saying how they act is fine.

I actually get a feedback report daily, usually playing 3-5 games a day. Now as to if thats because I just have an above average amount of toxicity in my games, I dont know, but I report any kind of flame whatsoever and it seems to be acted on. I also write out descriptions in reports though, so that must add to it.

When you report someone for intentionally feeding and then they're in your next match on your team.
