Can we lower Talon's mana costs significantly so he can actually do something besides mid lane?

Yeah, it'd be cool if he can actually jg I've tried a few times and his ganks have the potential to be monstrous.

If you get a strong leash he's a pretty good jungler. You just need the right runes and masteries.

what makes mid lane any different than top?

you're still buying a flask lol

most soloqueue junglers dont give blue anyways. blue side you can get blue as top too. purple side you can counterjungle it.

He might mean that you need to utilize your skills more often because most top lane players tend to be lane bullies

same goes for most mid laners. syndra, zed, xerath for example would be champions talon commonly lanes against in mid.

That is true but top laners also tend to be more tanky and melee so they tend to bully more often. Talon as a result uses more skills to try to even trades and/or cs from afar

Ryze would wreck him...point click snare...burst from afar + ryze can be pretty tanky Rumble would just zone talon out with his flamethrower

Considering its a lane filled with lane bullies, more focused on farming than mid is and you tend to have to duke it out in skirmishes far more often than mid, your mana gets destroyed. I feel like he only has obscene mana costs to make him go mid lane.

Or they can rework him, like they need to do.

Because an assassin whose entire burst rotation was designed around a toxic silence just lost the silence because it was toxic, so now he kind of needs redesigning.

I think he's fine? The compensation was lacking but the change makes Talon more tactical...and now he requires skill to do well especially in lane.

He needs some of his skills to be shifted in power but overall I think he shouldn't get a major rework. I would mostly just remove his damage amps and replace them with different things.
