Bond of Stone vs Windspeaker's Blessing?

Anyone else feel that the bonus from Windspeakers completely outclasses Bond of Stone?

I mean think about it, Face of the Mountain and Locket provide somewhere around 800 shield late game. With WSB you get an extra 80 shield plus resistances, making it about 1000 effective shielding on yourself and a partner, plus that extra ~200 for everyone else on your team.

6% of your ADC's 2000 hp is about 120 health.... SO that means that you can only redirect about 120 damage to yourself VS the extra 200 shield. I feel like this is kinda gross.

Not to mention, relic shield procs do benefit from the healing/resistance bonus, so it's pretty hard to say BoS is better for the laning phase.

IDK, thoughts? Math? Some kind of argument against taking WSB on Braum over BoS?

never thought about that actually. forgot windspeakers worked with shields.

however, bond of stone is more for you than your ally to mitigate some damage

I messed up my math up top (fixed now). But considering 4% of a supports 3000 health is 120 damage, you still shield yourself for more or just about the same amount as that. And relic shield heals you for 10% more every proc with WSB, so I would say it evens out in the long run. It just seems really hard to think one is better than the other really.

ALSO, Bond of Stone SHOULD BE PICKED UP FOR YOUR ALLY. T_T Otherwise Grasp of the Undying is what you should be getting. Not you specifically, but like.... erggg. Frustrating.

yea. i often find Bond rather awkward to use. i've only picked it if the other support was ranged to decrease poke. but in any actual fight it was better to have strength of the ages, grasp, thunderlord, or even stormraiders.

Courage of the colossus is the strictly better keystone now and i find bond completely thrown away at this point. even with the horrible 30sec flat CD (i think the CD should scale up from 15sec-25sec depending on level).

edit: you take 2.4% of the damage you ally takes.

There's also the fact that you can build Knight's Vow which is just a flat-out better version of Bond of Stone.
