Tenacity

So, this is basically non-existent. There are two sources. Mercury Treads and Swiftness Mastery. And the Mercury Treads only give 20% now. Zephyr is no more.

In a game of counter picks, counter plays, counter builds...you basically did away with tenacity, which is the same thing as giving an advantage to champions that have more or better CC.

Please explain this one Riot.

i really have no idea why they lowered the tenacity of Merc Threads it's not like the tenacity mastery is in an easy to reach spot so unless you are dedicating yourself in the tank line you won't be getting access to it. This seems like an unnecessary change just to slap in the face anyone who built Merc Threads but wasn't a tank

I personally LOVED Zephyr on Aatrox, it helped me deal with stuns and keep attacking, especially when combined with tenacity from the former defense tree masteries, i was at like, 45 percent tenacity. And it was a trade off---buying Zephyr meant not getting another stronger attack item or piece or armor, so I would chose to build it depending on the game.

Irelia

Are you suggesting they wanted to make Irelia better by nerfing tenancity?

I'm saying she's a source of it.

Don't be stupid. You know I'm talking about sources that can be had by any champion.

Well obviously they wanted stuns and slows to be more effective unless an enemy is deep in the resolve tree.

So I guess this means tanks can have an easier time getting to their squishies to save them and squishies are now more susceptible to CC.
