Support Income Disparity Solved

*UNIQUE – SPOILS OF WAR: Melee autoattacks execute minions below 340 - 680 (based on level) health. Killing a minion by any means heals you and the nearest allied champion for 50 health and grants them kill gold. These effects require an allied champion within 850 units of the user and consume a charge. Recharges every 30 seconds. Max 4 charges.
hmm maybe not dorans blade maybe make a totally new item that starts similar to longsword 350 gold +7 ad and 2 charge spoils and slowly builds up to 4 charges.
Not sure why you would take this over another support item. Unless this item was designed for the ADC to give their support more gold. (Which honestly sounds like it would be abusive.)
Yes, I am. How would that be abusive?
I like your idea, using ADC's items to support the support, but what does it really accomplish? If gold gain is too low then the numbers on the current items/masteries that exist for supports can simply be increased without the need to adding similar effects to ADC's items right? I mean, wouldn't that be simpler and achieve the same thing?
What does adding gold generation aimed for supports on ADC item's really accomplish? Does it solve the problem of gold generation on supports being too easy/risk free? Is it just a less rewarding version of what already exists because roaming supports don't benefit from this?
I do hope Riot notices your post, its an interesting idea.
EDIT: I think you need to put a little more thought into this. Maybe if you did something different with it then all the other gold generating items it might seem more reasonable. We already have a execute, we already have passive gold generation, we already have gold for damaging champions, and we already have gold for minions dieing. What can you bring that is different? Something that makes sense for a ADC to do.
support's dont HAVE an imcome disparity... they haven't since season 4.. they have an EXP disparity. we get plenty of gold.. just not exp...
What are you taking about? Lol we have disparity in both. When was the last time you check the charts after a game? Lol

Our items are balanced around our income so i do agree we usually never have income disparity and the EXP one is actually a fact. If our adc is farming like a monkey then we also lose exp which is quite sad considering how i always proc my passive on spell thief.

Now that I think about it, the ADC farming like a monkey may be a reason why this item wouldn't be super effective. It's ability to fix the income disparity will legit rely on your ADC. I doubt it's going to make the support role any more fun, if your success becomes that much more reliant on the ADC.

Well chances are, you won't be able to put the spoils of war passive on a starting item, without reducing the stats it gives, otherwise, it would become the most OP, and only option for ADC's. Also in your first comment, you appear to be using the tier 3 variant of Spoils of war. That would legit become the OP option for Supports, if your getting a tier 3 effect from just the starting item. (I won't need to level my gold item, I only now need to build the sight stone)
