It's not that Yi is strong, it's that teamwork in lower elos is shit. Master Yi can hardly do shit against a normal team comp with some hard cc, then again if you go against a Yi with 5 squishies whit only 2 hard cc from the supp then you deserve to lose.

Devourer and Guinsoo gone, they nerfed his E before, his highlander, his heal. They nerfed him to the ground, i dont even know how people are managing to win with him. He needs all nerfs reverted and give him some buffs.

Master Yi is trash tier right now... lol. They did gut him. You do not have even the slightest understanding of the game given that you are bronze 5 8 lp. You should not be challenging a pro's opinion, or really anyone's opinion on this game, when you can't click a mouse.

yi does suck... hes only good in low elo where people don't know how to build against him... I'm looking at the game u got crushed by a yi and ill point out ur problems which have a ton...

you have ignite/smite on elise and a sunfire.... change the ignite to flash and the sunfire to rylais Morde has ignite/tp with a steraks 2nd item? zyra support has ignite instead of exhaust which would drastically reduce yi's damage and along with that she has no sight stone so the bot lane is easily ganked... you are in the elo you belong I'm sorry

well tbh hes not good... especially in a high level of play environment where people know how to build items and good teams. He would easily be focused with cc and blown up

Yi's are easy to counter since Highlander no longer makes Yi immune to stuns, roots, and certain disables. If you see a Yi going up in the lineup, best way to counter him is with a champ that can stun...and dish out the damage. Best bet is Annie or Morgana seeing as how they can stun...and Zyra's root is a good way to slap around a Yi.

There are other champs out there that can put Yi in his place, easily... Just gotta make sure that you're fellow ELO's know what champs to build to help counter him in-case they switch lanes on you. Lucian for mid...ended up being top and totally destroyed top lane in 15 mins last ranked I played...a bullshit move, yes...but kinda funny.

April 11, 09 it used to remove some CC like Ryze Rune Prison but even then that was a bug

Yi is only good against unorganized teams, AKA Low ELO.

With the removal of Sated Devourer, he is quite bad as Bloodrazor is such a downgrade from it. Since Being Able to quickly Triple proc his E active with His passive + Phantom Hit > Some extra % health damage.

Not to mention new guinsoos is quite trash on him.

They nerfed yi, then they nerfed his items or was it vice versa? Whatever, then they removed one of his core items. Of course hes going to be guttered and in need of buffs its just riot following up which is good.
