Possible solution for afk/inting and LP loss?

I know you can't just make people not lose LP if someone afks because that could be terribly abused and I get that.

But what if the account was reported for afk / inting routinely and it led to punishment, could the LP losses be reverted once a punishment has been issued and you were one of those who reported them?

I honestly can't imagine that working logically, especially with the system we have now. I'm having a hard time imagining the system tracing so many players, and nulling LP losses, despite of their current LP situation in terms of either being in promotion, being demoted, etc. I'm not tech savvy, but I just don't think the system is capable of working like that.

It sucks to lose LP to toxic players, but the best way of dealing with it, is the long term solution. Report and keep playing on.
