Can you really blame people for raging?

No i'm being serious here, How can you blame people for raging? Riot has yet to introduce a steady and fair matchmaking system. I'm Diamond (and im not bragging) and i get paired up with anywhere from unranked level 29s to plat 1. Both on my and the enemy team. I dont know how the vast majority of League players think but in my own opinion I expect people to play with relative skill comparable to mine. I know i'm basically asking to get flamed right here with all sorts of "your probably bad" comments but seriously Diamond playing with level 29s... I get mad in game for people doing really dumb stunts then after the game i look up the match history and see that all the guys i just played with are in low rated leagues, then i feel bad so now i ask YOU, Riot...

How does you matchmaking really work?

Yes. I can blame people for raging. If you rage, it shows you're far too invested in what is, in all actuality, an online game that doesn't matter whatsoever in the real world. If you rage, it shows that you aren't enjoying the game and should probably stop playing it instead of just ruining other people's experience.

Blindly insulting riot isn't going to help anything. They do their best, which I think is actually quite good. Otherwise I wouldn't play this game.

Also the current team builder matchmaking does not take ranked leagues into account rather it is based on how often you play your champion in what role. This means that if I as a lowly bronze 2 play a certain role with the same champ over and over again I'm more likely to get matched up with silvers, golds, plats etc. Its not a perfect system I agree but its what I'll suffer for getting to play whatever champ i want in whatever position

Diamond matched with level 29's? More data needed. If that happened and everyone was SOLO Q, I would be shocked and shaken to my core. When I first started playing I was a level 28 and duo'd with my buddy who was Gold 1 at the time, we were matched with two silvers and a gold, and the enemy team was Gold with one level 28, and a Platinum. Needless to say the Plat wrecked his opposing lane and was so fed we couldn't stop him at all.

That's the one and only time I've seen match making be so lopsided.

No offense but you're "Not bragging" about being Platinum but then you say you expect all players to "Play on the same skill level as you?" That sounds like contradictory to me o.O

Well in this case you can't have your cake and eat it too. If you want to play against similarly ranked opponents you play ranked.

Well that makes sense then. I don't like the idea of not being able to play with my friends because they are Gold/Plat cuz im certainly not at the level, Should be fixed somehow i think

I don't blame anybody for raging. I rage all the time.

I DO blame people for taking that rage out against other people in-game. If you want to yell and scream, do it to your monitor, not through the keyboard.

'cause you don't have to nor need to... it's also stupid and doesn't help in any way; waste of time.

Actually they have... it's called Ranked.

Play Ranked then... Normal games don't care about your Ranked status, nor ARAM or Dominion.

This is not an issue with Riot or League, this is a problem with people who have yet to learn basic methods for keeping their emotions controlled. It's not that hard to keep calm, and it's even easier to not show it over chat if you do get angry. If someone starts raging I put the entire blame on them.

In ranked, I agree with you. In normals, no. I mean, I think normals do have some kind of MMR thing as well (correct me if I'm wrong), so basically your normal game skill is even with those 29s.

Because raging accomplishes nothing. Your teammates don't get better and you don't get better. Vent IRL, don't get yourself banned. Hold a pillow in your lap, it helps.
