Have you ever contacted Riot via support ticket about a particularly problematic player?

I recently had a player who did 6500 total damage in a 55 minute game. He followed our junger around all game, denied me and him as much cs as possible, and claimed he was laughing on skype throughout the whole thing. I think he fits the definition of griefing. I have the replay.gg footage to send to Riot, but I don't want to bother sending in a ticket if I'm just going to get a worthless copy-paste response 10 times in a row (like every time I contact Riot support).

So, my question is have you ever contacted support about a problematic player? How long did it take you to get someone to actually respond to your issue (and not just generic, completely irrelevant copy pastes). Do you think it was effective and worth your time?

I've made several, and had responses between 6 hours and 3 days. They always answer (and I've had conversations with them, showing they aren't bots) but whether they punish on the spot or do nothing or something in between is difficult to tell.

I've sent support tickets with screenshots when I can, specifically when I encounter a player giving death threats or encouraging suicide. These are ALWAYS worth my time.

I have sent a few when a player went out of their way to make a game miserable for his teammates. Most notable example was an Anivia that called jungle, took blue buff and came bot lane, using her wall to try and get me and my laning partner killed. I asked him why he would do this in ranked, and he said, cause it's funnier this way! Considering this player is still playing LoL months later, I'm not sure I should have even bothered.

The two above type of tickets both received general responses (We'll look into it, but we can't tell you if we punish them) BUT were both personalized to me and worded slightly differently. I even mentioned that I tried taking a video of the Anivia's behavior but my video capture software only made LoL crash every time I tried to use it; they asked for more details to see if they could fix the crashing.

No matter the issue, the average time I wait for a ticket response has been under 20 hours.

I've written support tickets (not for players however) and always gotten a response in less than 24 hours.

The fact that the Anivia is still playing months later doesn't mean he wasn't punished, just that he wasn't perma banned.

I'm aware of this, but considering at this point in time they had almost all of their match history with scores of 0/15, I'm just surprised they didn't receive a perma-ban. Especially when they admit that they are purposely misbehaving to ruin someone else's game because they think it's funny.
