If they are not on my team they are on the enemy team. Come on Riot, you need to do something about this yesterday....

As a mid laner, you get to choose between:

  • Getting to have no fun because you have to lane against Yasuo
  • Getting camped non-stop for the entire game by a Lee Sin
  • Picking a different role

(And that's in ranked, where you can at least ban one of them 60% of the time.)

yasuo mains:we play yasuo because its a fun champion riot:we are nerfing yasuo Yasuo mains:OMFG RIOT IS RUINING ANOTHER CHAMPION IM OFF O PLAY DOTO 69

Cowseed2 votes

That would be justified because Yasuo is in no way that strong right now. People apparently haven't learned how to deal with a yas after all these years. smh

BlâckLotus1 votes

lmao he is in 20% of games with a 52% winrate and you say he is not strong, you know that riot is preparing a meganerf for him in the next 2 patches right?

Cowseed2 votes

Mega-nerf? Your sources sound credible.

Frius6 votes

thats the problem like 130+ champions

and 1 champ like lee sin takes over 50 spots of other champions

BlâckLotus1 votes

lee is currently the only champion that gives vision on all those stealth champions like vayne and kha, next patch riot is gonna give more champions abilitys that give true vision. At least thats what i saw on the pbe patches

That is funny considering his play rate is only 13% meaning, either you are full of shit, or you are lying.

you can't consider ban rate when a champion is hated for simply being that champion.

we def can consider his banrate ; his banrate is above the 70% i mean im not complaining about yasuo , free wins for me Irelia other people who like to pick off meta stuff on the other side, wont agree it's simply not fun to play vs him

no you can't consider the ban rate from people banning him because they circle jerk around hating him. they ban him for every reason and none are legit.

Cowseed1 votes

I asked a dude why he banned Yas in a game. He told me he's OP.

I thought he was full of it because Yasuo is no were near OP and most Yasuos in bronze suck unless they are smurfing.

falldown0103 votes

i gave you a reason though i ban yasuo because he's no fun to play against if i dont, yasuo ends up being picked, and its always the same

same with lee sin now, i ban lee sin, otherwise, i get lee sin every game or a lee sin caming on the other side

That isn't a reason to nerf a champion. You don't like him, well too bad. On top of that his 13% play rate means he isn't played near 90% of the time, so this whole thread is moot.

same with lee sin now, i ban lee sin, otherwise, i get lee sin every game or a lee sin caming on the other side

If you enjoyed a champion, would you play him? Yes. So why should it be any of your concern that others enjoy someone?

if a champion has an incredibly high ban rate then there is something about that champion that is a problem, it doesn't necessarily have to automatically relate to being immensely powerful with damage , Look at it this way, Way back when before the mass nerfs, silence removal and a change to focus on ramping up on Mana Kassadin had a 90% ban rate in both Pro play AND normal play but his win rate wasn't particularity high, around 48-53% the reason he was banned so much is because his kit was a massive problem, he could thrash any mage that went mid with his Q and E, he could out-sustain any mana users with his W and when he hit 6 he had Aurellio Sol levels of roaming power able to jump almost half a lane width from the bushs and get the drop on the other lanes, in addition after hitting 6 if he got ganked he could just laugh and blink away, his kit was just too good in all situations and had little to go against it

Yasuo is in the same boat, he isn't fun to fight because his kit is too overloaded, things like his double crit giving him a faster spike then other fighters, his E allowing him to near impossible to chase if there are minions nearby and his windwall nullifying a large % of the entire league roster (Plus things like its hitbox appearing before it does/being big enough for a Yas to stand in the middle of it and not get hit).

So when a champion is clearly showing to be a problem you have 2 ways to go about it, you ether buff a ton of that champions counters which could cause those champions to become incredibly powerful in all ways OR nerf/change the champion with the problem, this was a similar choice with Lucian, at one point he was essentially a Beta Yasuo, with his blue build he could literally do his dashes forever, it didn't make him OP but it made him a problem, Riot could of buffed the ADCs which beat him but that would cause issues such as those ADCs to become way too strong, so they instead reworked and nerfed Lucian, dealing with the problem without upsetting the balance of the other ADCs

That isn't logical at all. If a champion has a high ban rate and every other thread is about people not liking him of course his ban rate will be high. That is just stupid. The difference between Yasuo and kass is that Kass was strong and still is. Yasuo is easy to counter and outplay. Having mained both at one point or another, I can tell you Yasuo has never been Kass level op. You are comparing to matters thta have nothing to do with each other. Yasuo isn't stomping anyone. Yasuo is outplaying them. They gt frustrated and cry. Also his ban rate is almost entirely from bronze-silver players. High tier players don't even ban him because he is a free kill to them.

Yasuo is no where near the same boat. His kit isn't overloaded, he does what he is designed to do. I don't see you saying about annies level 6 spike where you can't even approach her after that. He has crit because he is meant to deal heavey damage. He has e is meant to make him mobile, why? Because one stun and he is dead. That is called a counter. His windwall is the only move in league to counter long range projectiles. If you can't wait 4 seconds for it to drop, you are playing the wrong champion. If you are that close to Yasuo for him to use it as an adc, you are not good. Adc are't meant to go in on him in the first place.

No one is showing any problems? high tier champions aren't playing him, those that do don't have high win rates. He is near 50% perfect balance win rate. His play rate is only 13% so he has no problem other than low tier players crying about him. You don't buff his counters, because they are working perfectly. He doesn't need nerfs since he is balanced. Oh look a win wall which counters Lucian, the only thing that does, it's like a miracle.

13% is really high. It's even higher in reality when you consider his ban rate. My guess would be 20-25% at the very least.

Most champs have a playrate around 4-5%. When Yasuo have basically three times as high playrate, then obviously the champ might need adjustments. You obviously don't understand statistics though.

Yasuo is a popular champion for people, deal with it. I obviously do understand that 90% of people not playing him means is isn't in 90% of games. Clearly you can't do math.

Lol, it's like talking to a wall.

First of all, his play rate appears lower than it would've been if he didn't have a 40% ban rate. It means a lot of people don't get to pick him. Secondly, he actually has a 20% pick rate when you combine top and mid, and you then factor in the fact that he has a 40% ban rate. I'm not doing the math, but that probably puts him in 3rd or 4th place as the most played champion. Most champions with that kind of play rate are broken in some sort of way. The above stats are from ranked matches. In normals, from my experience, he has a close to 40% play rate. Also, his pick rate varies according to which elo you're in: In one elo he might have a 20% play rate and in another he might have a 5% play rate. What that means is that he might in fact be very often picked which the OP is subjected to in his/hers elo. In addition, this is a game with 140 champions. Even a 10% play rate is obnoxiously high with that kind of champion pool.

Secondly, Yasuo will be adressed soonish and more than likely recieve some sort of substantial nerf.

And lastly: You understand neither math or statistics. You abuse them soley as means to further your own (faulty) opinion.

I've just grown used to it. They've been in every game for as long as I can remember with just a small hiatus from Lee Sin. He doesn't bother me that much as lower elo Lee Sins are just terrible, but Yasuo is my target ban even on my team as his entire kit is just toxic and I'm tired of watching the Yasuo of my team constantly run into losing fights and die over and over and over again.

It's funny that you think that people will stop playing Lee or Yasuo even when they nerf them... They will have a solid playerbase even with Yorick pre-rework base stats because their kits are considered "fun". Annie could be the most OP champ in the game and still will have medium playerbase, because playing her is like considered "boring".

Edge of Daybreak2 votes

Dangit out of all the people who complain about this you were the closest to actually being right that ive seen. Sadly you havent actually had them in every game. The search continues.

Shattered Mind2 votes

Guess who i play mid when i have an Yasuo enemy.

I play Diana

Guess who wins every time. Diana

I also don't have much of a problem with lee.

I also play other champs against him. But a lot of it also comes down to understand they champion and what to and not to do when playing against him.

:)[slayer-jinx-catface]

I also don't think they need nerfs. A lot of problems can be solved with having champions with CC.

chubs12241 votes

Why is Diana a yas counter?

Cowseed2 votes

Yasuo has a lot of counters. Almost anything that isn't range can give a Yas hell if you know what your doing. One of several reasons why I don't think he's OP.

Shattered Mind2 votes

I never said she was but I you play a champion right you can win.

Ill Q him to knock his shield. that Q +R+W+R+Q if required and plus auto attacks in between. If you got diana built up enough he cant retaliate because he is dead.

Cowseed2 votes

Maybe if Yasuo wasn't mindlessly banned every game then people would not play him every time he's not banned.

As for Lee I guess he's popular because of his play potential.

Leetri2 votes

Lee Sin has always been and always will be super popular because he's really fun to play. I personally don't like playing him, as I'm quite bad with him, but his kit has a lot of fun elements that people like. There's also room to become much, much better with him in ways that feel and look meaningful. Mastering Garen so you can land every tick of your spin isn't quite as visceral as dodging a skillshot with your W, Qing into the enemy and insec'ing the carry out of their back line and into your front line.

Yasuo is currently the 39th most played champion according to op.gg, that's one slot under galio. You seeing a lot of galio? No? Then Yasuo is not in every single game. You are wrong. Please be quiet. Sincerely, a Yasuo main tired of seeing people whine about Yasuo with no actual basis in fact.

ok ff cya1 votes

Do you know what is the funny fact? That Yasuo players played about 535,485 games and they still placed under Galio and he has only 33,180 games played. You count the win rate and you forgot about the games played. Also, Lee sin has the highest games played after Vayne which is 761k games!!! So, yes we see a lot of players play Yasuo which they played 500k games, but Galio? no, he has only 33k games played. There's no comparison.

Langhof1 votes

Ok, then to go off your point: If he has so many games played and such a low win rate, then why are there daily boards crying about how op Yasuo is? You can't constantly cry about a champ having an overloaded kit and being super op to the point of riot having to take a 2nd look at them, yet the champ has a lower winrate than champs like fucking Galio. Sometimes the league community makes no fucking sense.
