Riot's treating Riven just like Lee sin
Nothing but love tap nerfs that aren't even close to affecting the real issue with the champion.
Also Riot a heads up that the MS nerf means nothing to someone with 4 dashes

Just a tip, 3 of those dashes are damage, 1 is cc, and 1 is survivability.
If she blows 2 of any, then she should lose any fight early game unless you let her hit you a few times before retaliating.
She lost what, 600 projectile speed on her R? That's pretty big, as it means escaping it via walking is easier and you have more time to react and flash/dash/walk out of the way.
Her R wasn't even the issue. Her overloaded kit is. Each skill in her kit does too much

...?
Her passive gives her charges that are expended on autoattacks to empower them based on her AD. Anytime she uses a skill she gains a charge.
Her Q is a 3 charge dash. Each dash covers a tiny amount of distance and does moderate damage, with the last able to hop small walls and knockback targets a short distance.
Her W is a short ranged short duration AoE stun.
Her E is a medium range dash with a shield.
Her R is an active that increases her range + AD and can be reactivated for an AoE ranged execute.
Hardly overloaded. You could describe Urgot's skills in the same manner and come to the same conclusion (probably more so actually, as Urgot's W shields and slows, and his E does damage + shreds armor + makes one of his skills home in)
just play master yi
master yi > riven
Actually, unless one is wasting dashes to cross the map rather than using them in combat, then yeah, an MS nerf would have an effect even after all 4 dashes are fully levelled, because Teleport and Flash have long AF cd.
And before anyone starts, using a ward-hopping or wall-jumping ability to ward-hop or wall-jump is not a waste. It's half the intended use.
