Nerf Deaths Dance

Keep the healing just remove the overtime bleed effect. It makes bruisers with 3k or more hp just not die even when you are running thornmail they are just healing in enough time to cover for the extremely long bleed effect timer. Everytime you see an illaoi or riven or jax or aatrox with 40 or 60% health that other 30% (missing hp) is just the bleed timer taking the longest amount of time to deal the burst damage given to that bruiser. It is a significantly better Steraks gage that doesnt have to wait to activate. Both of these item together synergize way too well. That Gage shield passive just takes the bleed dmg from deaths dance and you keep healing like a mother fucker. Just remove the bleed effect and all will be right with bruisers not being able to tank burst dmg.

Everyone, except Aatrox, suffers severly from building healing reduction. Same goes for Soraka, but yes, they still heal. Otherwise Death's Dance would be in need of buffs.

The purpose of death's dance is to give healing/lifestealing champions a chance to do that before they are bursted to death. Beating burst is the whole point of the item.

Thats bursting from power creeping over the metas. Not the fact that they need an item to do so. Your logic is horrible.

Eh ... as someone that rushes Death's Dance on Illaoi in most games as her, Death's Dance is a case of everything working together so well on it.

Base stats are already noteworthy: 80 AD is comparable to Infinity Edge and maybe Bloodthirster atm, and it comes with 10% CDR.

The 15% healing from all damage (which includes true damage for all you Conqueror and Electrocute fans out there) works well with those stats because more CDR = more frequent abilities and more AD = more powerful abilities.

The damage conversion to bleed, while not a bonus by itself (actually a nerf if the fight goes longer than 3 seconds), it gives the champion with Death's Dance to make up for lost life with the sustain.

So, aside from the 'build Grievous Wounds' argument, I will suggest increasing the frequency of the bleed ticks. Maybe adjust the duration as well as the amount converted, but that is really risky.
