I miss the old jungle

Been playing league a lot less than I used to and when I do play I am reminded of why, I really miss the old jungle not the spirit of the elder jungle but the one where we had individual buffs from different camps I enjoyed how that jungle was balanced for situational buffs over the plants we have now. I enjoyed that season of match making a lot because there was variety and strategy even though blasting smite could be a tad liberal with who was able to jungle but whats the problem with more diversity in the role? I feel like now jungle is just being cycled through a select few champions for the past season with little variation.
