Graves gets better defensive steroids than most melee champions while being ranged lol

He has better defensive steroids than:

Aatrox, Akali, Amumu, Blitzcrank, Darius, Elise, Evelynn, Fiora, Fizz, Gangplank, Hecarim, Irelia, Jarvan IV, Kassadin, Katarina, Kha'Zix, Lee Sin, Nidalee, Nocturne, Nunu, Olaf, Pantheon, Shaco, Talon, Warwick, Yasuo, Zac, Zed

All of this, while being a lane bully, having a dash, having an AOE blind, a great mid game, and 70% attack speed late game

Who designed this champion? Every time he's been good he's facerolled the meta. Release Graves was an abomination and he was overpowered as hell throughout season 2 because he crowded out every other champion except corki and months later ezreal, now he's top tier again. I'm so excited

A better defensive steroid? He gets 30 armor and magic resist over 10 second. Anyone who is going to be killing Graves is going to be doing so in less time than that unless he has a super peel team (Braum, Nautilus, Blitzcrank).

Yes he has a dash, but its not stupidly good. Its a short range dash that grants him attack speed. It costs a lot more resource than most other mobile ADC dashes these days too.
His Smoke Screen isn't a blind. It reduces your vision, but it doesn't blind you like Teemo does. It slows, but it doesn't blind.
Yeah, he is a lane bully. But you know who also is and can do so better? Caitlyn, Jinx, and maybe even Lucian.
All ADC AD Casters have a good middle game. So does Corki, Sivir, Ezreal, and Varus all have a good middle game.

People are just now seeing that he is just as good as other ADCs and don't know what the trick is to going against him which is burst. Graves is great in a fight that goes for at least 6-7 seconds, but if an Assassin or aggressive Support (aka Leona) can reach him and lock him down for the kill, he is as good as dead. When facing Graves, pick an aggressive Support and an ADC that can do noticeable early game damage (not necessarily high but enough) and he is just as good as others.

That's the tradeoff for having one of the shortest ranges as an ADC, and some of the highest mana costs. Keep in mind that he also loses those buffed stats pretty quickly and they don't exactly scale well into the late game either, unlike the passive armor on Shyvana or Wukong.

He's also someone that requires a solid early game to keep from falling off in the mid game, and who takes a LOT of positional awareness. He's my go to guy when I have to ADC.

Blame all those who wanted him to be buffed because Lucian was better.

Now he got unnecessary buffs and he's ready to become the cancer he once was.

Well yeah, he's meant to be a close range marksman, which means he needs to be tankier than longer ranged marksmen so he doesn't get blown up in 1.5 seconds. The champions you mentioned are meant to build in other ways from him. Some are bruisers that need to build tankiness, if they didn't then they could build straight damage, that is something no one wants lol. The others are assassins, meant to jump in and pop people, they don't need much of anything defensively as they are meant to be mobile, to use other means to avoid damage.

Graves is built to do what he does, get in your face and blow it off.

And Vayne does the damage of 2 ADC, whilst being faster than a chasing Yi, the only ADC that has a stun\cc that isn't a ultimate, and autoattack\reset\stealth\repositiontool\bonusdamage\passthroughjarvanIMPASSABLEterrau skill.

But i guess 550 range which is the standard adc range makes her so weak and unreliable.

Note that most of the champs you named are assassins that have no business having defensive steroids, and the ones that aren't have other ways, such as crazy lifesteal (aatrox, olaf), ridiculous base damages (darius, amumu, irelia), or simply better defensive steroids that aren't just flat AR/MR (panth, olaf, jarvan IV, nocturne...)...
