AP Tryndamere's Problems

Hello, Ap trynd has been seeing increasing amount of play recently, but he has a lot of things that are so bad to play against: 1- Having a great burst with a great DPS;

2- Having so much unrestricted mobility, being able to dash everywhere for no cost and no cooldown at all isn't fair at all.

3- So much sustain that can't be affected by GW, as he will just walk away and heal back up. Furthermore the heals are insane!

4- Being so hard to itemize against, as he does physical damage with his 1.0 AP E (which is a bit confusing to people who don't know his kit), and dealing magic on hit damage too! (so mixed damage, with some true damage as he will go conqueror....)

5- Not being punished by over extending, playing the map wrong or anything at all, even hard cc is barely a counter to him (one or 2 can't cc him for long enough as he will afk split push your nexus)

6- Takes tower so damn fast.

7- Not being punished for using his ult, as he will always have it back up (with 45% CDR it is always off cooldown...)

To people who don't know what is AP trynd, he will rush nashors (and will get the ap parts first) into lichbane, rageblade, deathcap and other situational items. His E cooldown is 3.8s, and if he gets some lucky crits here and there it is shorter. Also right now AP build is stronger than the AD build (according to Fogged) I hope he will get some balance changes to shift this power and give a better window for counter play.

The best example for a 0 risk for high reward champ.Even if he feeds, he always ends up being the same.But nothing is ever done.

Yeah, it is a very toxic concept in general. A champion who is far behind should be useless for a while...

Why don't they just make his whole kit scale off AD and make it so all of his crit has to come from items

Changing his kit like that will need a rework in most cases, but we need some faster fixes so we can use our ban on other champions...

Darius counters him. Bleed outdamages his heals.

Actually not, at least not the ap version. Once you get your CDR darius will not be able to do anything about it. And beside that, is it healthy if the only counter is to play X champion? I don't think so.

Conq trynd is the ultimate short trader. Gets conq stacks on minions, auto e away. Can stand barely in darius e range to bait it out first.

So... you just basically described AD trynd. Great DPS and burst, insane healing, good mobility, great singing and split pushing, hard to itemize against(conqueror, guinsoos, and bork are all standard on AD trynd)...

This is just trynd doing trynd things with a different build. ._. AP trynd literally only became a thing because crit itemization got absolutely destroyed.

Actually no, Ap gets CDR much faster, clear waves with E for free and has much better healing because of his Ap ratio on Q

AD Tryn doesn't get CDR mostly since he goes for crit items, Raven hunter, etc

Except AD trynd gets wave clear for free from static shiv/tiamat + E for free, has healing from life steal and Q, and doesn't really need CDR. Lol both forms are problematic but for literally all of the same reasons.

Life steal is in combat healing alone, and the CDR is so op, just watch him in action. You can never catch him, ever... And this only happened for 2 reasons, crit nerfs and his E buff.
