When will Riot realize that Sona needs a rework?

Shit i've been playing this game since 2011 and this is the 10 billionth time that they tried to do balance Sona and have her go out on control. Next they'll nerf the shit out of her and leave her to rot for a few months until they try again.

I know Sona is a sensitive topic but let's just be honest and agree that her kit is just waaaaaaaaaaay to fckin simple and easy . Her only requirement to play effectively is to "Stay near your team", which every damn support has to do anyway. Also, her damage is stuffed in one ability that CAN'T BE DODGED.

I would love for her to get rework that actually focuses on her music theme.

I love the notion that everyone seems to have that easy kit should also mean 'under powered'. Like basically, if you're easy, you should be for learning purposes only. You should not have strengths or ever beat anyone ever.

That's not at all what I was saying. It's not just that it's easy, it's easy and there isn't much counterplay to it.

She has 1 targeted skillshot that is obvious she's about to use (Her Q). Yes it does a bit of damage, but for her to use half of it's damage she needs to AA you. She heals yes, but it's not an amazing amount and item 3123 item 3105 item 3156 do a decent job of counter building her.

As for counter play, she has no escapes, and she's pretty squishy. If you turn on Sona, she should die very easily. Again, the telegraphed Q can miss if the Sona didn't expect your movement. I've seen it a lot.

Her with lichbane is a surprisingly high amount of unavoidable damage honestly.

That's the only thing that makes me hate Sona when she builds full AP. How it's impossible to avoid that damage and how much it hurts with a sheen proc.

for the longest time Sona was, and I quote: "squishier than a minion" according to this forum, and now she has no counterplay even though they haven't touched her stats? yes the heal, shield and haste got over buffed but they're fixing that on this upcoming patch, once the numbers are right her counterplay will be right on the open, she's the squishiest champion and she'll blow up like a balloon if poked.

Sona's kit is incredibly unique and doesn't need any kind of change, specially after Riot found her weakest and her strongest points throughout the years, now all it takes is finding the sweet spot.
