[unpopular opinion] % max health true damage is a healthy mechanic
it is used to shut down tanks, but against non tanks its useless

When I'll see a Fiora or Vayne proc their true damage on a squishy more than 3 times without killing them I'll believe you.
Except 10% max health true damage kills squishys literally as fast as it kills tanks...
In 10 hits...

Yea but since a tank typically takes more than 10 hits to kill, and a squishy generally takes less than 10 hits to kill - it is significantly more effective against a tank and less effective against a squishy.
Except 10% is still 10%.
Yes it's technically a smaller amount.
But its no where.near "worthless"

Yea it's not "worthless" but when ANY ability does way more than 10% of said targets health it makes it way less effective.
as an example: squishy: takes 3 seconds to kill. add in any damaging ability doing 10% true damage, still takes about 3 seconds to kill anyway. tank: takes 8 seconds to kill, add in damaging 10% true damage, now takes about 4 seconds to kill.
These are made up numbers, but I believe the main idea of why it's less effective on a squishy vs tank still shows.
I agree. It's difficult to tune, and I'm not saying it's not inappropriately tuned in some places, but as a mechanic it certainly has its place.
That's the world's shittiest argument you've got there.
"X mechanic is better vs. certain champions than others, therefore it is healthy for the game for it to exist".
Did that make more sense in your head? Because that makes zero fucking sense.
fairly certain 100% true damage is equally effective against every champ except maybe mundo or tahm
True damage is true damage.
it shuts down everyone.
